At that same restaurant, but on the lower class spectrum, was a man, in all of his twenty six year he was the epitome of rugged looking, his blue eyes set into thick eyebrows which matched his rugged yet tidy beard, but dressed in a smart casual look as he worked the bar, making cocktails and whiskey on the rocks.

Alexi nodded. "Have you sleept at all?"

After a few minutes passed of nearby waiters ignoring her finger wriggles, Anastasia got to her feet and wandered over to the bar. Resting the menu on the counter in front of her, she watched it for a moment before lifting her gaze to try and catch his eyes.

"Uhh.. " Daniel grimaced, shrugging. "I must of... Last I remember it was dark, now its light so.."

Cohen was busy concentrating on his cocktails at first, but he was able to lean on the counter in front of her. "Can I help you?" He asked, a soft smile on his lips.

She nodded. "Fancy some coffee?"

"All of these drinks are bland." She complained, pushing the menu toward him. "The food too but I will take that up with the chief. Have you got anything off the menu?"

"Mm, double shot coffee please."

"Not at the moment," He told her. "But I will have shortly." He told her as he finished making a round of cocktails for a group of women.

She kissed his cheek before she went to make him coffee.

"I like tequila's, rum's and whisky's if it helps." Anastasia hummed, frowning when she noticed he was focusing on other customers.

Daniel watched her go before looking back to the baby.

He nodded. "I'll keep that in mind, and I'll make you something in literally two seconds." He had been able to plit his concentration easily enough, keeping their conversation going when he could as he took the money from the girls.

The baby watched them.

Daniel reached down into the crib to pick him up, holding him close in one arm and using his free hand to blow air into the palm of his sons hand.

Once the girls had left, he started to make her a drink. "

The snuggled into him with a soft giggle.

She sat herself down on one of the bar stools, watching him closely.

Daniel laughed quietly.

Alexis smiled as she watched him.

He soon put the drink in front of her. "That'll be five pounds please."

"What is it?" She hummed, pulling a twenty out and passing it over to him. "Keep the change."

"Quick with that coffee now." He hummed lightly.

He nodded, putting the money in the till. "It's a Wizard of Oz." He told her, listing the main ingredients.

"Koby was already making some."

"Your own creation?" She hummed, grabbing a straw from the pot on the side and having a sip.

"Ah, didnt know he was up."

He nodded before he went off to fill some other orders.

She nodded. "Me either."

She wrinkled her nose when she walked away, once again iritated. Silently she sipped at the drink, glancing up to watch him every few minutes.

"Wonder if he and Lilly fell out, he has barely moved from her side for months."

As she walked away, he seemed to become more a d more busy.

"I'm starting to wonder that too."

She frowned, quietly wandering back to her food table. Remaining at the resteraunt until near closing time, and then lurking just outside; waiting to talk to him as his shift finished.

"I'll go chat to him? You take the baby."

She nodded. "Yeah sure." She put hsi coffee down and held her hands out for the baby.

He stayed late to help some of the waitresses clean up, but by the time he left it was long dark and he walked to his motorbike that was parked outside.

"Think you can get away that easy without me picking your brain?" Anastasia asked with a grin, her eyes only on the bike as she ran her fingers along it's edges. "This is nice. My father has the original of this, he collects classics."

Daniel passed the baby to her before heading out of the room and downstairs to see Koby.

"Mines... Let's just say oreowned."

Koby was making them. Some breakfast.

Alexis held her son.

"All classics are reowned, I don't see the appeal myself. New shiny things are more appealing to me but.. Daddy claims they are parts of history so he has garaged dedicated to them. Enough about metal though.. I want to talk about drinks. Let me take you somewhere, have someone else make you a drink and let me get to that brain of yours."

"What're you doing here?"

"I would but not tonight, I'm back in work early tomorrow."

"Crashing on the sofa?"

"Tomorrow night then?"

"I don't mean that, I mean - are you and my sister ok?"

He nodded. "Alright, meet here?"
