"I am awake." She told him, opening her eyes.

"Good, so keep talking to me." He whispered as he focused on cleaning her up. "Whats the best kind of ocean to swim in?"

"There's not much difference except for the dead Sea, might as well just walk that one."

"You must have a fsvourite though. Everyone has a favourite."

"Indian ocean." She told him. "Not too hot and not too cold."

"Oh I like that one too."

Darcy exhaled slowly once they had gotten rid of all of the attacking pirates. Looking around to see what damage was done

Quite a few of the men were dead and a few were wounded but it wasn't anything serious.

"I'll have to take you there to swim. Sometime."

Darcy grimaced, walking over to Jack. "So, thats a bit more exciting than fishing."

He smiled slightly. "Told you." He told her playfully.

She smiled weakly.

"You need to get yourself cleaned up though, you've got some cuts."

"Here," Wyatt hummed once he had finished stitching her up. Offering her what was left of the vodka he had used to clean her wound.

She took a drink of it and she coughed slightly but other than that she was alright. "Thanks for this."

"For what?"

She nodded to the stitches.

"I wasn't going to leave you laying on the bed with a knife in your side now, was I?"

"Let me fix you up first, your a bit more important to the ship than me."

"Most would have, I'm not someone special."

He smiled slightly. "If you must but they will heal on their own."

"Everyones wounds heal on their own eventually, this isn't new news to anyone." She hummed, motioning for hin to go ahead. "Go on, to your quaters."

Jack rolled his eyes playfully before he walked off.

Darcy followed behind her.

Jack led her to his quarters.

"Sit down," She hummed, grabbing a cloth from the side.

Wyatt gave her a pointed look, sighing softly and shuffling closer to her. Sliding his arms around her to hold her; "Not to me."

He sat.

She snuggled into him. "Why?"

"Why? Weapons are cold, rigid.. Made of steel. Not that I don't think your made of steel, your strong and your skills are as sharp as any knife but your also elegant and- and funny. Warm. You have a light to you."

Darcy sat beside him, resting her hand on his cheek to turn his head slightly, cleaning the blood off his face. "You don't let anyone else get this close to you. Why me?"

"No other people on this ship want To," He shrugged.

She smiled slightly. "I think you hit your head." She told him playfully.

"I think he should take his hands off my sister and leave." Kovu was stood in the doorway watching them, arms folded across his chest.

"Here he comes, still bitter that I can out drink him." Wyatt mumbled with a roll of his eyes. "She's hurt, its her choice if I am here or not."
