When he had left, Amora was sitting in her quarters.

"Hey," Wyatt whispered as he entered the room, having just come back from land. "Are you ok?"

Darcy walked quietly.

"I'm alright, how did your thing on land go?" She asked.

He walked with her.

"I uh.. Need to ask your dad if he doesn't mind a kid joining the crew."

"What's happened?" She asked. "But I honestly couldn't tell you even remotely what his answer to that will be."

"They've died, its just him... So, he joins us or I have to leave. Those are the only two choices."

She nodded. "He should be back soon, why don't you go and get him." She told him. "I'd like to meet him."

"No.. No meetings, if your dad wont let him come with us the I'd rather he not meet you just to have to say goodbye again."

"Well, where is he?" She asked. "My dad cold be hours and I want you both to be okay."

"A friends parent is with him. He'll be fine for a few hours.""

She nodded. "Okay," She walked over to him. "And how are you?" She asked. "And tell me the truth."

"I- Not great..."

"Do you want to talk?"

"No," Wyatt shook his head. "No, not right now anyway. Just sitting next to you suffices."

She nodded. "Okay." She told him.

Wyatt slid his arms around her, resting his head on top of hers and closing his eyes. Holding her so firnly it was clear he was worried it'd be the last time he would.

She slid her arms around him and lay on the bed with him and she held him close.

He just held her in silence

She stayed silent, letting him take what he wanted from this.

"I love you." He mumbled hesitantly.

"I love you too."

"We'll just have to see what your dad says."

She nodded. "If he says yes, do you two want to move into here with me?" She asked. "It means he isn't exposed to the men below deck."

"Yes.. Without a doubt, yes."
