Peyton had drifted asleeo, exhausted, though she she blinked her eyes open she turned her head to sleepiy kiss the side of Koby's head. Moving a hand to check his pulse.

Koby's pulse had almost stopped, his pulse so weak it was hardly noticeable, only the slow sound of his heart still beating was showing that he was alive. Unbeknownst to everyone, his wolf was damaged, too damaged to fight anymore, he was slowly giving up,

Faun was asleep on the floor.

"You can't just say that and then say nothing." She told him.

"Koby..." Peyton whispered softly in his ear, hesitating before closing her eyes to try something. Using what magic she had to reach out to him, going into his unconcious mind to see him.

"Hi you," Peyton whispered as she wandered over, sitting herself down beside him.

"What's going on with you?" Peyton whispered, resting her hands over his. "You're not doing too well."

"You should go back and check on Koby."

"Yeah...I know." He told her, not looking at her but to the setting sun. "I'm just waiting..."

"What are you waiting for exactly," Peyton hummed, resting her head against his shoulder gently.

"I'm going to find Harrison."

"We both know how this ends Peyton." He told her, nodding to the sun. "As soon as the sun sets, that's it...I've made peace with that."

She nodded, walking to the den that Koby was in and she pulled a blanket over Faun, before she went to find Harrison as well.

"It doesn't have to end," She whispered, "Fight just one more time, I can - We can - help you the rest of the way. Let me support you how you've always done me."

He smiled slightly. "No...the wolf died last night..." He told her. "If the human part of me survived, I'll be dead in a week."

Rebekah looked all around the dens. "Harrison!" SHe shouted.

"I can turn you," She lifted her gaze to his face then, reaching her hand up to make him look at her. "This doesn't have to be it, all you have to do is tell me you want to stay.. With me, with Faun. I can make you better."

Harrison exhaled slowly to stay calm when he heard her, sat cross-legged at his sons grave.

"You can't turn a vampire Peyton."

"Harrison, forgive me, but you need to come quickly." She told him.

"What.. Why?"

"The wolf if dead, my love," Peyton whispered, brushing her thumb against his cheek. "Which means you are.. Just you.. I can turn humans."

He shook his head. "I'm still a wolf," He told her. "I want to die as a wolf, grant that one request for me." He told her.

"It's Koby..." She hoped he would understand just with that one sentence.

"Faun just lost her son, she can't lose her father. You can't just give up." Peyton whispered, keeping er voice soft so she didn't appear confrontational. Fighting her urge to lash out, fighting the urge not to beg him or cry. Hiding how much she wanted to break, focusing on eveey little change in his voice. Trying to sear it into her memory just in case, all she done to indicate her struggle was grip his hand tightly.

Harrison just swallowed thickly and nodded, geting to his feet and heading back.

He held her hand just as tightly. "I don't want to die." He told her. "I don't want to hurt her, or you, but without my wolf I can't live, it's not two separate people in here." He tapped his forehead with his finger on his free hand. "It's all me."

Rebekah led him back and she found Faun on her knees, wide awake, tears falling down her face. "Pappa, please don't leave me so soon." She whispered.

"What is she doing?" Harrison asked Rebekah quietly as he nodded his head to Peyton. Sitting himself down on his knees behind Faun and sliding his arms around her tightly.

"And you are still here, barely, but you are." She whispered, using her free hand to rest it on his cheek. Allowing Faun's voice to filter through to his subconcious, "You hear her begging? Her, and her wolf begging. So you don't make peace with anything, you get angry. Your wolf is still alive so you kick it up the arse and tell it the fight isn't over yet."

He almost smirked. "What do you think I've been trying to do?" He asked.

"She's talking to him." Rebekah told him.

Faun leant into him.

Peyton lost it when she saw the edge of the smirk, shoving him almost violently. "This isn't a joke! You haven't been trying, if you have come to peace with it then you haven't been trying! This place is too calm, peaceful, I didn't have a damn sunset when I died Koby! I had a forest where the trees kept turning into hands and pulling me back as I ran away from nothing but black and I ran and ran right up until I got thrown back into it! I didn't get a stupid little sunset in a pretty field! I fought! You need to fight, fight properly! Don't be a coward. If I had any damn wolf in me I would get that stupid wolf of yours out, it can't resist a chance to make alpha known."
