"Not to us you won't." Koby promised him. "If you miss her just say."

"Miss old her, who we both were right at the beginning. But this her, no. I've grieved me and her, I'm fine with how things turned out. The pack was my dream, then she came along and she was a better one. I would of dropped the pack for her, I would of abandoned anything for her. She couldn't for me, and I needed out so... It is what it is, and its fine how it is."

"Just so you know, she misses you too." He told him. "You made her happy, and I understand both of you, but can you at least try and be friends?" He asked. "I'm back now and if I need to take some duties off of faun so you two can spend time as friends then I can, but you need to want that too."

"I've never said that she isn't my friend. We were, as far as I'm aware,"

Peyton leant back against the wall, watching them both with an affectionate grin.

"Let's be honest Harrison you've not exactly been asking to see her." Koby told him. "I just wanted to check."

"This is what I can't cope with, exactly why I left. Be quiet with the I'm the bad guy bull. She hasn't come looking for me either." He growled. "You need to leave now, Koby, before you say anymore."

"Why do you fly off the handle so easily?" Koby asked him, he wasn't scared of him. "I point out a truth and you growl like a pup without a toy." He told him. "Not once have I said that you're the bad guy." He reminded him.

"Because its a pointless truth. It's an acusatory one. Go and ask her why she hasnt visited and whilst your at it, go ask her why she cared more about the pack than me." He growled. "Now; I said leave."

Koby looked at him and he raised an eyebrow.

"I would of done anything for her, left all of them. Left anyone. They wanted me dead, I was scared and I begged her to leave with me.. She didn't. She chose them, she didnt care I was scared. I refuse to chase her like a pup to be friends with her, why should I? She wants me to be her friend then she can make the effort but I am happy where I am. You left the pack, Peyton came with you. I'm sure you'd both follow each other anywhere, imagine if one day she didn't. Imagine if one day she made you chose between feeling safe or her. Thats what Faun done to me, so I chose my safety. Self preservation. Its as simple as that."

"And I haven't questioned your choice" He told him.

"I really need you to leave now. I have things I need to do."

"You're right; that Koby and I would follow each other anywhere." Peyton whispered, reaching for Koby's hand and interlocking her fingers with his. "But you and Faun aren't us, and Koby and I have had our own issues. You don't have to justify to us why you aren't with her, you don't need to prove it was a good enough excuse but.. If it still hurts you like it seems it does, maybe that shows you should come back to the pack at the least. The human girl can't be your support system, not when she doesn't know your story like the pack do. Even human parts of your story, like how your dad treated you, have you told this human girl about that yet?"

"I've told her he wasn't nice, that its good he is gone... Then I changed the subject."

"So, either come to the pack again where people already know... Or be brave and tell her. You need support. All both you and Faun are under the alpha bravados are scared kids... All of us are deep down." she looked to Koby then. "Even this one."

Koby looked to him.

"How many times do I have to ask you both to leave before you do it?"

Peyton just sighed, shrugged in defeat and turned to leave.

Koby sighed before he left.

Harrison watched them go before sitting himself down on his sofa and calling Felicity. Holding his phone to his ear.

Felicity looked to her phone and she answered it. "Hello?"

"Hey, just checking in." Harrison hummed, "Are you ok? I've not heard much off you today. How did class go?"

"Class was fine, look I'm really busy I'll talk later okay?"

"Oh ok well I uh.. When are you free I really need you - I uh mean need to talk to you." He stumbled.

"I don't know, I've got to go, bye." She told him, ending the phonecall. There was onviously something wrong, she had stayed home all day.

Harrison physically flinched at how suddenly the call was ended, swallowing thickly. After a few minutes getting to his feet, grabbing his coat and heading out. Soon knocking on her front door and trying to open it.

She stayed in the house, sitting in the living room, she had been scouring her work on werewolves.

"When we said I needed to talk I.. I really did mean it. I- What were you up to last night?" He whispered as he wandered inside, closing the door behind himself.

"What was I doing?" She asked. "What have you been doing?"
