"Fine then, bring her here." He told him. "Let us see if she is willing."

"I'll search for her once it is daylight." Christopher nodded. "But for now, that water supply, yes?"

"Sounds fair."

"Let me make it clear, I am an asset to all of you. Start realising it or you won't have me, and I can gaurentee the wolves, vamps and hybrids will rip you apart before you can go crying home to your mothers."

"Just seem to forget there is one of you a d fifteen of us, your threat is useless."

"It isn't a threat, its a statement. I have survived as a hunter, a lone hunter, since I was a pre-teen. I have seen many groups get slaughtered in seconds by their prey. The only benefit of there being more of you comes when you don't get cocky, and you all are. You have to work smart, not hard. Brains over force, friends."

"Just a tip Christopher, maybe you should consider the bigger picture before you come here floating your experience." He told her. "Maybe you should check on the company you keep."

"I keep none," Christopher hummed. "It's just me now, although I am becoming more and more aquintaned with Doctor Marshall. Nice mine, needs a dentist though."

"And yet you wear a wedding band, did you. It think I would check up on you when you requested to join us." He asked. "You aren't the only one with influence and experience, but you might want to check on the wife of yours."

"I saw her a few hours ago, we fell out.. Sort of. I would love to bond with you mate, but I would really rather do it over a beer."

"Still, might want to make sure rhay she is safe at home, or should I send my men?"

"Normally I would be suspicious of you but, her long lost brother showed up today and I don't trust him so.." He hesitated, before nodding before heading toward the house to check on Jeni.

Jeni was on the outskirts of the forest, she had managed to kill a small deer and she was happily lay on the floor gnawing on a bone.

Christopher paused when he came across her, just watching her in silence

Her ears perked up when she heard a commotion and she was on her feet as gunshots rang out.

Christopher didnt even flinch at the gunshots, whistling to get her attention. Motioning her over.

She saw him. And she walked over.

He crouched down so he was at her level, smoothing her gently and whispering; "I've got a plan, to keep you safe. You just have to play along, okay?"

Peyton had jumped violently at the sound of the gunshots, standing on the edge of the packs den. Waiting for them all to come back.

Faun came back in her vampire.form."They are alright, the gun shots were away from. Them."

She tilted her head in curiosity.

"Okay," Peyton whispered, exhaling slowly.

He glanced up towards where the gunshots had come from, watching the area in silence

She stayed with him.

"How are you feeling?"

"Scared, always scared on a full moon. All the bad things have happened when its a full moon." Peyton whispered. "I know you like it, I understand why you all like it. It means something completely different for you."

"I can't work them out," Christopher whispered.

She nodded. "I'm indifferent, sometimes I shift, but most of the time I don't."

She nodded, she would speak but he would t understand if she did.

"I know," Peyton whispered. "It's always upset me, not being able to. It's like a club that everyone is a part of other than you, and everyone gets to go to these parties but you can't and you end up being alone. That's without the whole people might not come back from the party thing, which happened with your dad; as you remember. I'm scared one day none of you will come back. Full moons arent about freedom and belongingness for me. Full moons are lonliness and fear."
