He rested back against the sofa watching the ceiling.

"With you yes." She told him. "Or we could. Always go out, the waterfalls are nearby."

"I know, but until then, I'm alone. In this place where I am seen as 'that hunter' and I don't always feel safe." Max answered, swallowing thickly - emotional, "and it isn't fair, because I never chose this. This is just the hand I have been dealt and it isnt fair because they have each other."

"I'd rather just get some sleep," Harrison admitted. "It's not been busy but arguimg with people is tiring."

Peyton buried her face into her knees so he wouldnt see her cry.

She looked to him and she moved to hug him.

He watched the ceiling.

Max exhaled slowly, hugging her back gently.

"Great," Harrison answered with a nod.

She smiled softly.

Harrison headed to the bed room, taking off his shirt and settling under the covers.

She slid into some. Lounge pants before she lay beside him.

Max pulled back from the hug and continued to walk.

"I'll be nack later, when your gone. Give you more time to think about whether to leave me or not." Peyton mumbled, getting to her feet and heading out

"I'd love to know what you want to do."

She continued to walk with him.

"I want us to be okay. I want you to hold me when I am sad, because you havent for months. I shouldnt be so used to crying alone."

"Night," Harrison whispered sleepily.

"And you shouldn't be ignoring me either." He told her.

"I'm not ignoring you. I've never ignored you. If you have ever cried alone then that is because you walked away from me Koby." Peyton answered sharply.

"You seem to be doing a lot of the walking away, I always come back here, I'm. Always here in our home waiting for you." He told her. "But you'd rather be alone, like now you're the one about to walk out."

"Because I cant stand being this upset and you being right there and not feeling like I can curl into you. Stop being so stoic, I dont know where I stand with you anymore."

"You stand where we have always stood." He told her. "I'm just being me, if you don't like that after neatly 3 decades together then what do you want me to do?"

"You used to hold me when I was sad, you don't anymore. Its as simple as that, Koby."

"Okay I'm. Sorry but you've not exactly appeared to be in a mood to hug and cuddle."

"Yes, yes I have. Everytime I have beem crying I have and you have walked away from me plenty." Peyton muttered. "That fight we had, the big one when you held me to the tree and told me off about telling you how I was feeling, the last time I told you. I was hysteric, and you left me Koby."

"Yes I am. Aware of what happened and it wasn't me. Telling you off about how you feel if you remember."He told her." I am.tired of you and Faun fighting, I've had 2 decades of it. "He tomd her." But I know that I can't so anything right so it's fine. "

"I am tired of it too, I don't go out and look for fights with her! And I am tired of you lecturing me every time I am upset over anything, all I want you to do when I'm sad it hold me and listen! Not correct me like I am stupid! I hate how in this family affection is too much to ask off people!"

"Could have fooled me." He told her. "It seems like you're looking for one now." He told her. "Because I doubt it would be any use in me explaining my actions."

"No, no explain! Explain how you can leave me a sobbing mess on the floor all of a sudden, explain to your hearts desire because it is only since that moment I have been walking away because it hurt me. It humilated me... And you never came back, I was there for hours and you never came back..."

"I was busy." He told her.

"That isn't good enough." Peyton whispered. "Only once has anyone come to see where I was, and that was Abi and Rebekah. It should be you. Every time it should be you, because I do it for you.. Regardless of if we have thought. I've never left you upset in the middle of a forest, for hours, and not come back."

"I was busy." He told her and he stood up, removing his tshirt as he did so and there was an ugly looking wound on his chest.
