Persephone nodded, getting back into the car. Sitting in the back this time so she could be near her daughter.

"More than ready," Persephone nodded.

"I don't understand whats going on," Ariel whispered. "What did I do wrong?"

"Nothing, baby, nothing."

"You've also done nothing wrong, Laney," Persephone told her gently. "Nothing at all."

Apollo would of stayed down stairs for a while, before calling up to his daughter. "Hey you, come down. I have a surprise."

"No, you've kept us safe." Persephone whispered, "And, no offence, but I thought you would lf thrown me under the bus straight away not protect me. Don't apologise, you've done nothing wrong. You've been my lifeline, and I can never put into words how grateful for that I am. Its more than keeping me safe from Apollo too, we've been so lonely for some long... You've kept me safe from myself."

"A surprise, get down here."

Apollo lifted her up into his arms, wiping the tear stains away and kissing her forehead before bringing her into the livingroom where he had spent the past couple of hours building a fort of bed sheets and pillows spanning the whole room. The top lit up with fairy lights that gave the illusion of stars and having set up the projector onto one of the walls to play her favourite movie. A bowl of popcorn and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for them.

"You saw him for who he was today, thats all."

"Of course I'm not upset with you," He whispered, placing her down gently. "Lets have a nice evening, hm?"

"Helps me plenty." Persephone shrugged.

"Noodles!"

Apollo just watched her with a frown, quietly walking over to the projector to set up the movie. Deflated.

Ariel smiled brightly at that.

"Moana..."

"Sing-a-long version." Apollo hummed, grinning when he saw her smile. Pressing play on the ctor and sitting himself down by the food, "Come on,"

Apollo smiled, ruffling her hair gently.
