When Max got back to the pack, Aly was sat outside of her house with Elijah 9n her lap.

Max wandered over, sittong himself down beside them with a small sigh.

"I didn't make an excuse I just said that it would not be today or this moment." She shruggedm

"He named the hamster Chris." Max mumbled quietly in responee, hoping that was a good enough answer for her to understand how he was feeling.

"No, you invite me to stay here which is great but of you are barely going to spend time with me then it's just stupid. I'm going to go, pitch up my tent somewhere again - instead of just being a burden here."

"All because I won't have a fight with you." She told him. "I'm sorry I'm too busy right now,but you're not a burden."

"This is the most we've spoken since I moved in and even now your trying to wiggle out of talking to me."

"No it's true, and I am not some kind of charity case - you don't gave time to interact with me then I'm leaving. End of." He muttered, turning and walking away.

"Fine." She told him. "I'm. Sorry I can't spend every minute of my. Waking hours with you, and just so you know. If you knew what was coming up in the next two. Days you would understand but I guess you didn't ask your friend everything."

"Her and I barely speak. She is nothing to me if you ever engaged with me then you would know that," He snorted softly. "I'm not asking for every waking minute I'm not pathetic but an hour a week. This is the longest conversation we've had since that dance."

"Not that friend, your werewolf friend." She told him. "What you and her do is your own business." She looked to the sky. "It's a full moon this week, this is what it's like leading up to it, it's a busy time."

"It's busy because you make it busy, your so up-tight. This is my break from having to be up-tight so I said, I'm going to go. No point me being here."

"No you're just a jerk because I'm not giving you what you want." Abi told him. "I'm an alpha I've got a pack to look after and ensure that we are going to be safe, I wouldn't expect a human to understand." She told him. "You think I'm uptight then why did you even agree to come?"

"Excuse me? Don't be so insulting. If you don't like humans so much why talk to me?" He shook his head, walking away and going to the den to pack his things.

"Hey you started it." She walked off to join her pack and as she passed her parents she looked to her dad. "That's why I'm better off wuthh a wolf."

Harrison shook his head, silently disappointed in her. Whispering to Faun, "We should of had her around humans more when she was growing up."

Madoc shoved his things into his bag before heading out, walking away from the wolf territory and pulling his phone from his pocket to check his texts.

"Might have been a good idea." She sighed. "She's too serious."

Belle had text him telling him she was at the river.

"Assuming humans don't know things is dangerous, aswell. She will get into a lot of dangerous situations with that attitude."

Madoc sighed, heading toward the river to meet her.

"Then we need to talk to her."

"Yeah, yeah I know." He answered with a deep sigh. "She isn't going to like it."

"Here's a good spot." She told him. "Close to water good food prospects and its quiet."
