Abi kissed his cheek. "Come on then."

"Couldn't sleep." She told him. "And so are you, something wrong?"

Once they got to the pack, Max wrapped an arm around Oliver's shoulder. Whispering to Jeni, "Faun and Harrison know your on your way, find me if you need me. OK? Oli is safe with me, as always,"

"I wanted to watch the sunrise, I couldn't sleep. I've been dreaming about Sam, so..."

Elijah motioned for her to lead the way.

Oliver looked between them. "Where are we going?"

Abi brought him away from the dens into a forest and after a while they came to a clearing.

"Your coming with me to spend time with Ella, your mum is going to spend the day with Faun." Max hummed.

She put a hand out to stop him from walking into the clearing and her eyes scanned the clearing.

She smiled softly.

Max headed towards his den in silence then.

"What are you doing?" Elijah asked with a roll of his eyes, "No one is here we would of smelled them,"

"No we wouldn't, they would smell us." She told him. "The wind direction is blowing their scent away from us," There is a group 2 miles ahead of us."

Oliver followed and he would have walked in to Aly making breakfast for him as Ella finished some toast and jam.

"Oh, food smells beautiful." Max hummed as they wandered inside.

"Right, but we are meeting people anyway arent we. You sure it isn't them?"

"You never walk out there first, alphas or not, we have a higher alpha who has to walk out first." She told him.

"Hey Oliver, are you hungry?" Aly asked.

Oliver nodded.

"Higher alpha? What's that?"

"Don't give him your sausages, we don't want to poison him." Ella mused jokingly, smiling shyly.

Max laughed quietly at that.

"Well each meeting has a head honcho, someone who runs the meeting, chooses what we will discuss."

"That's rich, do you remember the bacon you tried to cook?" Aly asked her playfully.

Oliver smiled.

"The fat was spitting at me, I didn't want to get burned so I just thought it was worth the risk." Ella shrugged.

"Usually who calls the meeting, sometimes it's me, but this time it's him." She nodded to a tall and bulky man with dark hair stood in the middle. Of the meadow.

"He looks infuriating," Elijah observed.

Ella just shrugged again, before focusing on Oliver. "You want to come to my room? I'll pull out a deck of cards."

"Sounds fun."

Aly looked to then with a soft smile.

Ella got to her feet and headed to her room, closing the bedroom door when he followed.

When he heard the bedroom door close, Max whispered to Aly. "We found a letter off of Chris,"

"I uh, you can't - you can't tell anyone ok? Jeni doesn't want anyone to know, Chris himself never wanted people to know. There are potions, that.. that can make us human."
