"Three months is plenty, but we have to start now - come on, time to tap into your necromancy." Dmitri hummed, turning and beginning to walk away.

"Why are you really helping me?" She asked. "And necromancy was the first thing I learnt."

"Oh there we are then, your perfect and can handle it all on your own then." Dmitri answered with an eye roll.

"Just answer the question."

"I have already told you, we are blood but the only thing I have to offer then you do not seem to want so there clearly will be no helping."

"I don't want help, I just want family." She td him. "But like you said, you hate me so that's not happening, wait 3 months and you won't see me again."

"This is just as new to me as it is to you," Dmitri answered sharply. "If you are so resigned to death then what would getting to know you properly do? Why would I want to bond with you if you don't care about your own life enough to fight?"

"For 17 years I've been kept here to use magic at the expense of someone else, would you not give up. Too."

"No, for eighteen years I have been practically groomed to become the most powerful necromancer just to discover that no matter how much I work you will always become better than me without even trying." Dmitri answered. "Why would I bother getting close to you just to watch you let yourself die? How is that fair? Have you informed Elijah that you are just going to give up living in three months, you'll destroy him. Get a grip, stop being selfish."

"Stop being selfish, do you know what it means to be me?" She asked him. "I didn't ask for this, I know necromancy because our father taught me, I don't use it, I don't want power, I just want to live a laugh." She told him. "If he stays with me he would only get hurt, if I die his pack his safe, I thought you'd like that."

"He taught you?" Dmitri froze then, staring at her with a wounded expression. "You knew him...?"

"For a short time, I was three when he went missing and then ended up dead."

Dmitri shook his head, "I have no time to beg you to live. I am trying to help you, you do not know my story and I do not know yours that is clear. I am not going to beg you, I- I have to go."

"You know where I live, no doubt you'll be back whether it's about this or because the person who acts like my father is a dick."

"No, I have nothing more to say about this. I have made it clear to you that blood is important to me, so, the ball is in your court. You want family then, you come to me next." Dmitri mumbled, walking away and heading toward the pack.

"Blood might be important but I'm not being funny, but you don't even want to be near me, you obviously don't like me, would you go into somehwere like that?" She asked him.
