Hermione watched him go and she buried herself in the pillow lettin mg her sobs flow.

Hunter nodded and he looked to Audrina. “Come with me?” He asked her. “She’ll need you too.”

Audrina nodded and took his hand to go to Hermione's aide.

Koen carried the baby into the other room.

Hunter brought her into his sisters room and he moved to lay next to her. “Hey little wolf it’s all going to be okay.” He whispered to her.

Audrina sat down on the other side of her and took her hand.

He took Joseph to the man that was waiting.

The man was waiting patiently and he stood straight when he saw him. “Is this the little guy?”

Hermione curled up into her brother holding Audrinas hand tightly

Koen nodded. "This is Joseph," he said quietly.

Audrina squeezed her hand.

The man nodded. “It’s lovely to meet you Joseph.” He told the baby, looking to Koen. “If it’s any consolation I know what you’re going through, I lost my first child at birth, it does get easier. But don’t you worrry dad I’ll look after him.”

Hunter gently stroked his sisters hair and he felt her fall asleep eventually her crying dying down.

"I-.. I don't know how to help her." There was nothing he could do for his son but his wife needed him and he didn't know how to help her.

Audrina fixed the blanket over her.

“Just be there for her.” He told him. “I know it’s hard but just being there to show her your love and your support will help a lot.” He told him. “Hold her at night and on the low days help her eat and dress and tell her that you’re there.”

Hunter gently rested his sisters head against the pillow

He nodded. Those were all things he did anyhow so that wouldn't be an issue but he felt like he should be doing more.

“ relieve me I know it feels that way but there is nothi mg more that you can do.” He told him, looking down at the baby. “Have you said your goodbye dad?”

Koen let out a breath. "As best as I could."

He nodded. “Believe me it does get better.” He promised

He very carefully passed the baby over.

He took the baby carefully in his arms.

He let out a deep breath.

“I’ll look after him dad, don’t you worry.”

He nodded.

He smiled softly before he turned to leave.

Koen watched him leave..

He gently shut the door behind him. When he was gone, Arthur walked to stand beside his uncle. “Are you okay Uncle Koen?”

Koen stood there staring at a closed door, almost as if he hadn't realized it was even closed until Arthur was suddenly there at his side. "I will be.."

“Are you sure?” He asked. “You can always talk to me if you want.”

"Just.. it's been a very long day."

He nodded.
