Immortal Mansion

"How many?" He asked, walking over to her.

She watched him closely. "What's the matter?"

She nodded slowly. "I uh-.. yeah. It's just got to be a really big coincidence is all..."

He raised an eyebrow

She looked to him. “At least two.” She told him. “Why?”

“Stuck as a half lizard creature until I get back to the mansion.” He groaned. “Just don’t sit on my tail.”

Elijah shrugged. "I was just curious. You could've said ten," he chuckled.

She shook her head. "I'm going to sound crazy..."

"Then let's get going." Brooke scuffed at him playfully. "Like I'd want to."

He rolled his eyes.

“Try me.”

She smiled softly as she stood up from the bed. “Would you ever want to have kids?”

She nudged him lightly.

"When the time is right and I've found my perfect match," he told, wrapping his arms around her.

She sighed softly. "When I was really young, about a year and a half or maybe two.. my parents, older brother and I were in a car accident. My brother and I made it out.. but we were separated and I've been trying to find him since."

Elsa looked to him. “Perfect match?” She asked, she seemed quite emotionless over the fact but considering that she had given him her everything this past week, she hid her pain at the thought that he didn’t think she was his match pretty well. “Well youd best find her, now we’d best let them sleep.” She nodded to the children.

He laughed softly and he headed out to his bike

Damian looked to her. “You lost your brother?” He whispered

He frowned at her words, realizing she hadn't caught on to what he had been saying. "Elsa, I already have." He slid his arms around her waist. "You."

Brooke followed him out.

"I don't know why we were separated or where he was taken but I haven't seen him since it had happened."

“I have given everything to you,” she told him. “And I’m that one sentence you made me feel as though you didn’t feel the same.” She told him quietly before she left the room.

Damian nodded. “I know this is going to sound stupid but when this is over, we could do a dna test to double check.”

He handed her a helmet

He hadn't meant anything bad by what he had said, his words may have been poor but he was new to all of this. "Elsa..." He followed her from the room.

"It doesn't sound stupid."

She took the helmet, putting it on.

Elsa made her way downstairs and she saw Damian and Denise.

Damian nodded with a soft smile and he raised an eyebrow as he saw Elsa. “Els?”

Peter drove them up to the mansion

Brooke held onto him like she had earlier.

Denise smiled softly in return.

He followed her.

Damian caught her as she walked out of the house. “Hey what’s up?”

“Nothing I’m fine, is Peter back?” She looked to Denise

Peter soon rode back to the mansion and he pulled up near to them and he got off his new appearance causing Damian to take a step back to take them all in.

"She isn't.. I'm stupid and didn't word things correctly with my thoughts and I upset her. She left the room before I got to explain or apologize.. " he wasn't trying to make what he did better, only explain that he messed up.

"No, not y-" she had started to say as Peter and Brooke pulled up. "Peter.." she let out a breath going directly to him.

Brooke slid off the bike, removing the helmet so she could go to Damian.

Peter wasted no time sliding his arms around his wife. “The kids?”

Damian slid his arms around Brooke.

Elsa wrapped her arms around herself she knew that she was probably just being stupid.

She lightly ran a hand over him, as if checking for injuries. "They're all safe. Inside sleeping together. How are you?"

Brooke leaned into his embrace.

Elijah walked over to her. "I didn't mean to hurt you, I'm not like that. It's you that I want, that I've been waiting for."

“Alright I’m all healed but the band isn’t working.”

Damian kissed her head. “You okay?”

Elsa looked to him. “It really hurt Elijah.”

"Is it broke?"

"I'm good. I have you and my daughter and my best friend back.. we just need to get the others back too."

"I'm sorry. I-.. I stupidly thought when I said it that you would've known I meant you.."

“Think so, I did kind of throw it when I went to protect you.” He moved to rest his hands on her cheeks looking her over to see if she had any injuries.

Damian nodded. “Is there a plan?”

Elsa nodded and she was about to reply before she heard Damian. “I have a plan.”

She pressed a soft kiss to his lips. "We'll get it fixed." Any injuries that she had were very small and nothing much to fuss over.

"Not that I know of. I know nothing of where they were taken." And then she heard Elsa. "What is it?"

Elijah looked at her and nodded slowly. "I want to help too. Anyway that I can."

Peter kissed her forehead gently.

Elsa looked to them. “First things first we need someone to stay with the kids.” Elsa explained looking between everyone.

Damian looked to them

Brooke looked between them all.

"I can stay here.. it's not like I'll be of any help there anyhow." Elijah told them.

Denise looked at Peter. "Do you want me here or with you?"

“I’ll stay with him.” Damian told them.

“Ideally neither so I can ensure that you’re safe.” Peter told her truthfully 

Elsa looked to Brooke to see if she was okay with this

"Peter.." she frowned at him.

"Should I stay here with them too? Just in case?" She didn't know what to do. She knew how strong she was but she was also thinking of the guys being alone with kids that didn't know them.

Peter shrugged. “Just being honest, but I think your powers are suited to staying with the kids, that way if anything comes back you can help protect them.”

Damian looked to Brooke. “If Denise stays with us we will be fine, I know you also want to get to your sister.”

Denise gave a small nod, though she wasn't very pleased with this she didn't say it. "Be careful," was all that she said instead.

Brooke cupped his cheek. "My sister isn't the only one there, my brother is as well. It will be okay, I'll be back soon, I promise."
