"Bastian?" She said quietly.

He looked to her. “Yeah?”

She held her arms out to him.

He slid his arms around her pulling her closer

She pressed her face into his chest, breathing him in deeply.

He held her close

""I'm sorry.. I knew they would react badly..."

“It’s alright.”

"No, it's not fair."

"Chels, it's fine, I know what my powers can do, I don't blame them for worrying."

"They think you have control over me, Bast. It isn't true, I know you would never do something like that."

"Maybe not on purpose." He told her. "Sometimes I don't have control."

"You wouldn't pursuade me to be with you though, Bastian. That's what I mean." She knew he wouldn't but her family seemed to believe otherwise.

"Can you honestly look me in the eyes and tell me that this is all you." He told her,with the amount of time that they spent together, he knew that he had influenced her at least once, and that was what scared him, he loved her and he didn't want to risk what they had. But knowing that he most likely did it at least once, made hi physically sick, like he had forced their life onto her, forced their child.

"Are you telling me it's not? Have you-.. Bastian?.." she knew how much she loved him and how deeply she trusted him but there were times when she honestly didn't know if he was using his powers on her or not, she simply always trusted him not to unless she knew and even then it was only to help calm her when she was worked up.

"I don't know." He whispered. "That first night, maybe...I don't know any else." He moved away from her as he said this, figuring that she wouldn't want him near her right now.

"That- that night that we first-.." she bite her lip looking at him, not sure why he had stepped away.

"Seeing you that night, how beautiful you looked, I couldn't help it, my thoughts were all about you, your lips, everything...Chelsea I'm so sorry." He told her.

"So I-.. and-.. " she looked really confused and hurt. "That wasn't me? Are you sure? How do you know?.. because I-.. it really felt like it was an-"

"You felt what I felt, it's a normal reaction to sate the feelings we felt that night." He told her.

"But was what you felt, what I felt, Sebastian?"

"I don't know." He told her. "I don't know if it was all me or some of you or a little of me and all of you." He told her. "This is my problem, I don't know if anything you felt is real, do you even really want me like that or am I just influencing you, did you even want to concieve my child or did I force that on you as well?"

"You didn't. I refuse to believe that. You can control it, can't you? What I feel for you right now is me and not you telling me what I feel?"

“I’m sorry Chelsea, I hope I can…..Maybe we need some time apart just to prove that it’s not me.” He suggsted

"Time apart? And give them exactly what they want? No, what about me moving in and visiting your family with you?" She looked ready to cry.
