Delilah shrugged. "I suppose it makes this a little less awkward, though I can't have said more than five sentences to the man in my life."

"Has he been okay? He looks fine." Nathan crouched towards Blaze's level, waving in front of his face. Blaze barely glanced at him before his eyes dropped to his knees again.

"Well, maybe he can be the start of you being more social."

"Yeah nothing happened, he woke up and then started staring at his knees."

"What if I don't want to change? I understand that I have to, but I just...I can't believe they're making me get married. I'm not even eighteen yet, not for another several months."

Garnet ighed. "Well I have nothing else to say."

"That's what, a twenty percent possibility of happening? I don't socialise well out of political events and don't intend to start now. Besides, I've been told this is to be a marriage of convenience. He's probably being forced into it too, only show up for the wedding so everyone's excited, and then buggers off to who knows where."

"Oh, god, Snow, why." Delilah groaned, rolling over in the hay and causing her horse to snuffle loudly. "That's just asking for someone to kidnap me. I've already reached my quota this month, I'm tired of killing would be kidnappers."
