I don't want her having her own witch either, whether or not we could find one that would listen to her. She could have it do far too many things that we wouldn't know about,"

"The extended bedtime hours, we can compromise and get her one horse instead of the twelve she wants, you could reign in a few more hybrids to add to those that are already protecting her, so she thinks she has her own little army. By getting all that- the stuff she wants, she'll think we're great parents again, which means we can tick that off the list too."
