"I'm asking you what you want. You came downstairs last night, I just thought you didnt want to be near me right now."

"And did you?"

"I didn't even know he was your nephew until he said where he lived, so, no, I didn't." Abigail replied a little defensively.

Klaus shrugged.

"That doesn't help much,"

"Okay, okay, was just asking."

Abigail took a sip of her drink silently then.

"I don't see what I need to say to that," Klaus replied with a shrug.

"I'm going to beat you," She told him with determination as she took her go.

"You don't say much anymore really."

Kol downed the rest of his.

"Because anything I do say you normally find a way to turn into some kind of an argument. It's less stressful just to not talk."

Abigail moved her gaze back onto him after a moment, "Your looking good, considering."

"Considering what?"

"And yet you think we're working?" Tatia just scoffed and shook her head. "If you can't even say what you want to because I'm around then we're definitely not working."

"You were daggered, your hurting emotionally and as a result drinking a lot." She listed with a small shrug.

"I never said we were," Klaus countered simply.

"But you didn't exactly agree when I said we weren't." Tatia pointed out.

"I'm not human, I'm not going to get liver failure and go yellow from drinking too much."

"Not the point," She shrugged. Adding simply, "I know what I mean,"

"Well I don't, explain."

Tatia just rolled her eyes and sighed, doing the unusual thing and getting a glass from the cupboard and pouring herself a drink.

"In your eyes," Abigail responded simply, "They seem rather light, almost happy, considering all that I just listed."

Klaus just headed into the livingroom and sat down.

"I'm a good actor. If I pretend I'm happy Bekah doesn't bother asking otherwise."

Tatia pulled herself up onto the counter and downed her drink before pouring another.

"Must be hard to fake happiness and have your eyes do the same though. Normally eyes are what gives people away, you must be a good one." She whispered

Klaus just leant his head back and closed his eyes.

"Not that hard to do. Not really."

"What're you two doing down here this early?" Rebekah murmured as she came down the stairs.

"Working out our marriage problems," Tatia rolled her eyes as she sipped her drink.

Klaus didn't say a word, simply opening his eyes to watch his sister. "Could say the same to you, Bekah, why're you up?"

"Mm, you've had a long time to practice it," Abigail agreed quietly.

"Heard you two talking down here, you weren't exactly being quiet." Rebekah answered, looking slightly smug at Tatia's previous answer.

"Good to know I haven't lost my ability to lie though."

"I can tell your not happy though," She pointed out, adding, "Though, it didn't seem like you were really trying to hide it."

Rebekah shook her head, "Not really," she then sat down next to Klaus, "So, what problems?" she asked, a little too happily.

"Oh get lost Rebekah." Tatia told her from the kitchen.

"Be quiet before I compel you to tell me exactly what's going on."

"Don't compel her, Bekah," Klaus told her quietly. "Don't be so nosey, either, we're just arguing a lot, that's all there is to it."
