Astrid was sat up in the bed, playing a game of solitaire on her laptop which Kol had taught her how to play/ how to work most of the things on the laptop.

"Sure, I'll make it as soon as I've sorted Ness' bottle out. You might want to come downstairs too, I've got something to tell you." Tatia left it at that and walked from the doorway to Vanessa's room, taking the baby from her crib and heading downstairs.

Tatia set Vanessa in her crib and went to the fridge to get a bloodbag out, setting it into a bottle and giving it to her before starting on Astrid's breakfast.

Just as she said, a few minutes later Astrid came down stairs and into the kitchen.

Just as Astrid came down, Tatia was plating up her breakfast, so she put it on the table and gestured for her to sit down.

Tatia sat opposite her, watching Vanessa with her bottle for a minute or so before returning her attention to Astrid.

"Nothing actually. Other than I lied to you last night, which I apologise for, but it was late and I didn't really feel like explaining myself to you." Tatia started warily, then smiled a little. "You're free to go out now, the witches that held you captive are dead."

"Who did you end up picing as your best man?" She asked him.

"I was going to pick Klaus, I did write it on the back of the invitation, but he never got bac to me to say that he would do it."

"So tomorrow we're taking you out." Tatia continued. "Showing you off, we wont be able to introduce you as my daughter, for obvious reasons, but still..."

Tatia smiled at that, then was quiet for a few minutes before she started talking again. "Afterwards, me and Nik are going away for a few days..."
