"It doesn't mean that, not at all! Since when did turning someone mean you were stuck with them, huh? I told her the truth about what happened to her family so it wouldn't suprise me if we're finished now anyway." He shook his head, "This isn't about you, Viol! Me and her has nothing to do with her! I'm allowed a girlfriend! I'm allowed to meet people that aren't you! Stop being so jelousy, stop! I'm not going to follow you around like a lost puppy! You wouldn't follow me around like a lost puppy! You got a boyfriend, you'd tell me fine then, bugger off if I tried to make you leave him or tried to kill him! You aren't bring fair! You aren't! If you leaving means I can actual have my own life then go! I just want you to do whatever makes you happy! I just don't want to be like a little lost puppy always following you around anymore! I'm sick of it. I want my own life, I don't want to follow you around and only have a social circle of you and your friends."

Violet just smiled a little wistfully at that, turning round to zip her bag up and pulling it over her shoulder. "And now I know you were just saying you wanted me to stay..." she said, kissing his cheek and giving him a regretful smile before she headed out of the room and down the stairs.

"I want you to be happy. I want to stop following you around and just feeling like a burden. I want to be happy myself." Malvolio replied before groaning and siting down, putting his head in his hands.

"And it's clear that you can't be happy whilst I'm around. Goodbye Malvolio."

"Please don't go..."

Violet turned round with a look of disbelief. "Really? After all that? You want, you expect , me to stay?" she shook her head. "You've made it obvious you want to have your own life without me Mal."

"Not without you. Just not with you being the only person that I speak to. Why can't you just expect that I won't see you as much, but I still will see you, why is that so hard?"

((brb, walking the dog))

"Because 'not as much' will turn into 'rarely' and then 'not at all.' If I'm going to lose you I don't want it to be a gradual thing, because then I wont know where I am with anything. I've either got you or I don't, in between just makes things messy."

Malvolio just shook his head in the negative, "Get lost then, don't want half-arsed excuses. If you think I'm that terrible a brother that I'll lose contact with you then fine. Bye. See you never." he whispered unhappily. "The ont thing that'll stop you from going would be me breaking up with Trin and that isn't fair just because your acting like a spoiled brat."

"No. I'd stay if I thought it'd truly make you happy, which from your little rant upstairs its clear it wouldn't." Violet pointed out. "You want a life without me? Well you can have one. Ill be in Russia for a while, just so you know where to avoid." She told him before grabbing her keys and heading out of the door.

Malvolio glared at her as she left before walking ino the livingroom and sitting down heavily.

Finn silently passed him a glass full of bourbon, figuring his son needed it.

Malvolio just gave a nod in thanks to his father and just downed it in one before putting it down and putting his head in his hands.

"Want to talk about it?"

"What is there to talk about? She's a selfish idiot, putting me in a position like that and if Trinity dumps me now because of what I told her me an Viol done then everything will all be my fault and I'll just get drunk every night or something, or turn my emotions off."

"Don't turn your emotions off." Finn shook his head. "If things end badly with this girl then just take it in your stride. Give Violet a bit of time to start thinking clearly, and I'm sure she'll get in touch to sort things out with you."

"No she won't, Violet's stubborn, you know it and I know. Might see her in the next two centuries maybe."

"She'll miss you too much to leave it longer than a year Mal."

Malvolio just shook his head gently in the negative, whispering, "I need to get a daylight ring to Trin. I don't know if I'll be home tonight, will be tomorrow though, promise."

Finn just nodded.

"Please don't you run off and leave because I'm not at home as much," Malvolio whispered as he got to his feet.

"I wont, I'll still be here."

Malvolio just gave a subtle nod before turning and leaving the house.
