((Disappointed is not the word, tried booking hotel rooms for the TVD convention and because me and my friend are under 18 they won't let us stay in the hotel without an adult so we can't go anymore because obviously none of our parents want to pay £180 for two nights just to stay in a hotel with us ))

Astrid just shook her head before heading into the other room to feed Thea, brushing her fingertips over Kol's knuckles gently as she walked past him.

Within a few minutes Adam entered his and Olivia's home.

"You will not be an awful mother! I've seen you with your nieces and nephews. You'll be great Mia, and if you can't have one on your own then I'll help,"

Olivia was curled up by the fire, having fallen asleep reading a book.

Kol just sat down heavily.

Adam walked to her and picked up the book. Putting it on the side before sliding his arms around her and lifting her up, carrying her silently to the bed.

"Mm," Mia whispered with a small sigh.

Astrid sat next to him a few minutes later and slid an arm around his shoulder, pulling him into her a bit so she could kiss his cheek.

"I phoned Adam, you can phone Adrian." Astrid whispered with a small nod of agreement, rubbing his shoulder gently.

Adam placed her down on the bed gently and smoothed her hair back form her face.

Olivia slept deeply for a few hours, waking with a start as the sun was setting.

"Ah sweetie," Astrid frown, tightening her arm around him and whispering, "We'll fix this somehow... our relationship with them. We have to." she mumbled, pulling her phone from her pocket then and calling Adrian.

"Oh hey, didn't expect you back so soon." Olivia muttered, assuming she'd been asleep no less than an hour.

Astrid grimaced, turning the phone onto speaker so Kol could her and whispering a simple greeting of, "Hey, Rian... how're you doing?"

"I wasn't long, dad turned pissy, started slagging you off so I yelled at him and left." He shrugged, "Bit stupid of me, really, to think that I'd be able to have a conversation with either him or mum.. They're too childish. When I came back you were sleeping, what's gotten you so tired?"

"Dunno, just felt tired. Really tired." Olivia curled up into him, resting her head on his lap.

Tamara came into the room Adrian was in and frowned at seeing his expression. Sitting herself down beside him gently.

"You probably need to rest more because of the baby.." Adam replied, brushing his fingers through her hair gently.

"I'm not going to turn into one of those women who laze around all day because they're pregnant."

"No, you ruined my graduation, I want nothing to do with you. I'm content talking to Karl, and when she opens her mouth, Eri."

Caleb was in the kitchen one morning a few months later making breakfast for himself and Mia.

Mia entered the kitchen in silence, pressing her forehead against Caleb's shoulder and mumbled quietly. "I feel awful... so awful that she's doing this for us, a little jealous too... very jealous. Feel awful for feeling jealous." she sighed.
