Elemental Kingdom

Nathan walked outside with her silently and then abruptly stopped at catching sight of Delilah, who was slumped and unmoving, propped up against the fountain, her front soaked in blood.

She let go of his hand and let him go to his sister.

Nathan took a half step forward and then crouched where he was stood, just staring at Delilah. After a moment, he reached his hand out and then abruptly snapped it back, his fingertips burnt. "We should leave. My element is weak to hers, I can't approach her and calm her down. The pressure has been building up too long, even the air is superheated, and it's going to pop. It's a shame. I rather liked this garden." He moved back to her side, gripping her hand again and quickly tugged her. "I don't know where Blaze is. Even the earth element, perhaps even water would be helpful here too but...I'm not letting you risk yourself when letting her expel it herself will be the safest."

"I know who can help." She took his hand and pulled him into the castle and she pulled out a whistle, using it and Snow walked to her as a tiger.

"Snow is ice, she won't be able to get close without hurting herself." Nathan peered out of the window to the garden, watching with a blank expression as the water in the fountain started to boil and steam.

"Trust me I will be ok." Snow told him, she still looked weak and she carefully walked to Delilah, her tiger body suddenly unbelievely skinny with bones jutting out.

Nathan reached forward suddenly to grab the nape of her neck, dragging her back by that. "In the sort of state you are now? You are causing more damage to yourself. Delilah will burn herself out. It isn't the first time this has happened. It isn't pressing that she is fixed. Stand down. Now."

She suddenly bit him. "Don't do that!"

"If I have to, to get my point across, I will do. Leave Delilah to sort herself out before you get yourself killed. Delilah will pull through, in your state, you most likely won't and I don't want to deal with a pissy Fire Spirit."

"I'll be fine."

"No you won't. So give it up, or I'll grab your neck again. I'm not offering advice any more, I'm giving you an order as your prince."

"Abd I don't listen to you."

"You will if you enjoy having a relationship with Blaze," Nathan deadpanned. "I'm not above using him to manipulate you."

"Incase you didn't notice I don't take orders from you so nothing you do will have me do otherwise."

"Stop it!" Garnet suddenly shouted at them.l

"She's not going into that garden," Nathan told Garnet, his voice blank. "Delilah can burn herself out and nobody gets hurt. She doesn't need to be seen to straight away. If Snow goes out there and has herself hurt, then we deal with a Fire Spirit who no longer has anything to calm him and then the kingdom will suffer. I'm doing my job. I'll knock Snow out if I have to, I'm not above using violence."

"Well I am so both of you stop!"

"I'm not going to until she gets rid of the notion of going after Delilah."

"I haven't moved have I?" Snow asked him in a snarl.

"Only because I'm threatening you not to. Leave Delilah." Even the room there were in was starting to get warm because Delilah was still broadcasting out a lot of heat.

"I'm the only one who can't be hurt, you heartless insensitive idiotic piece of rock."

"That fact you are in the condition you are suggests that you can be hurt. I've seen you injured before, also. So go back and find Blaze. Delilah will sort herself out."

"Don't order me around."

"It's not an order, it's advice. I think Blaze needs you more than Delilah at this point anyway."

"I couldn't find him, that's why im here."

"He should be back by now. So you should go find him."
