"Of course not," Klaus replied with a quiet laugh, "It wouldn't be out family if it were quiet."

"My opinion of her shouldn't effect your friendship with her. I've lost count of how many times I've told you that I'll put up with her for you." Astrid sighed, "Come on, my love, go get your friend back, please? I want you happy, your not going to be truly happy if you don't have friends. You need her, just as much, if not more then you need me."

"You hate her, therefore she makes you unhappy. I wont have you putting up with that. I don't need her."

"I wish we were a normal family sometimes."

"Forget about me, live up to your selfish reputation this one time and get your friend back. She doesn't make me unhappy, it makes me unhappy that you're being so flipping selfless and your sacrificing your own happiness. Just do as I say, okay? I'm your wife now, so listen to me."

Klaus just frowned a bit at Vanessa then, "Why?"

"Because then I wouldn't have to pretend you and mom were my siblings, I wouldn't have to face the sympathetic look when I tell them my actual parents died because that's the only decent explanation to why my big brother and sister are looking after me. I wouldn't be worried about ripping someones throat out just because they cut themselves, or I wouldn't be worried about crushing someones skull if I slap them because they've annoyed me. I wouldn't have to be constantly scared of spending an eternity on my own - at least if I were human I'd only have to put up with it sixty years or so -, or scared constantly of killing someone in case I trigger my curse... Being normal sounds nice sometimes when we constantly have to move or dodge hunters or bloody ghosts."

"Don't lie Astrid, she makes you unhappy, or else you wouldn't hate her." Kol rolled his eyes. "I don't see why you're so persistent, I have you, I'm happy enough!"

Klaus just let out a deep sigh and pulled his daughter into a hug, "It's just how things are, Ness. You'll find someone eventually, stop looking so far ahead into the future, okay? Just take every day as it is. We haven't moved for a while now."

"For now, I make you happy enough for now but in the future you'll get lonely and I won't be enough and you'll want that blonde cow around and then you'll blame me for her not being around, because your doing this for me when i not making you do anything." Astrid replied, "Just do as I say for gods sake and go and be friends with her, Kol, it's not the day to be arguing with me just do as I say."

"The way you just described her settles everything Astrid." Kol sighed, "I'm happy with you, you make me happy, and I'm sorry that you feel like you're not enough to do that, but you are, I don't need her."

"But we're gonna have to soon, and yet again I'll have to cut all ties with the friends I've made and start ahead as the freaky new girl with dead parents and a weird family." Vanessa sighed.

"I'm going to bite her then... If your so sure of yourself that you don't need her, I can bite her so she died and I never have to see her stupid face again," Astrid grumbled.

"You'll get user to it," Klaus sighed, "Please try and be more positive, Nessa. It's horrible seeing you so unhappy."

Kol just fell quiet then, though he had a disbelieving air about him.

"I don't want to get used to it, I want to be normal."

Astrid just raised an eyebrow at him before heading outside towards where Olivia was.

Klaus just let out a deep sigh.

Vanessa just leaned into him, kicking her shoes off and curling up against him as she buried her head against his jacket.

Olivia was laying a few feet away from where Kol had left her. Illuminating her blood covered body was the full moon, which highlighted all the places she'd been bitten - the reason she was unconscious now, rather than the broken neck Kol had given her. Kol just leaving her out had lead to her being easy prey to the wolves around on the night.

Astrid frowned deeply and headed back to where Kol was, grabbing his wrist and pulling him out to show him the state of Olivia, muttering, "Looks like someone got to her before I could."

Klaus smoothed her hair down soothingly.

"Can't we get the witches to make us normal daddy?" Vanessa whispered.

Kol frowned and looked up. "This was supposed to be tomorrow night! It said the full moon would be tomorrow night!" he hissed, before dropping down to kneel beside Olivia and shaking her gently. "Come on Ollie, wake up, wake up!"

Astrid walked to him and went on her knees beside him, just wrapping an arm around his shoulder soothingly and whispered, "Lets bring her into Klaus, yeah? He can heal her."

"You really want to be human, don't you baby?" Klaus asked with a sigh.

Vanessa nodded, "I just want to be normal and not have to keep making and breaking friends and not be so scared of accidentally killing someone."

"What if it doesn't work?!" Kol asked frantically, still trying to shake her awake.

"Sshh," Astrid whispered, squeezing his shoulder gently, "Let's bring her to your brother, she'll be just fine, my love. Pick her up, we'll bring her in."

"You can die easier if you're human, Ness. You'll get old, and ill. Your memory will start go eventually, with your hearing and sight." After a few moments of silence, he told her, "Becoming human wont make you normal, unless you move out you'd still be travelling around with us and would still need to keep up that story."

"Then I have no way to be positive." Vanessa deadpanned

"I can't take her in there, I'll cause a panic..." he shook his head. "Don't die on me Ollie, come on." he begged quietly.

"I'll go get him then, wait here." Astrid whispered, "Don't worry, pretty boy, she'll be just fine." she soothed softly before getting to her feet and heading inside to get Klaus.

Klaus was about to answer when Astrid got his attention and motioned for him to follow, "We'll talk about this later, Ness, just try to have fun, yeah?" he asked with a sigh before getting to his feet and following Astrid as she led him out. Frowning at what he saw and crouching down beside Kol and Olivia, biting into his own wrist before putting his bleeding wrist to Olivia's mouth.

Olivia was completely unresponsive, too damaged by the venom and her injuries to be even remotely conscious.

"Come on," Kol urged quietly.

Astrid sat herself down beside Kol and pulled him back genty, "Give them some room, pretty boy," she whispered, holding him close in a hug.

Klaus just watched Olivia as he fed her his blood.

"She's not drinking, it's not working." he panicked frantically as he leaned back into her.

"It's going down her throat, brother, so it should still be working the same way." Klaus assured Kol.

"Sshh, sshh, sshh," Astrid soothed, brushing her fingers through his hair, "Calm down, take some deep breathes, Kol. Take deep breathes, try and calm down."

Kol just watched quietly, sighing in relief when the marks started healing up.

"There. See, everything's fine, pretty boy, she's going to be just fine." Astrid hummed softly, kissing his cheek.

When the bites were fully healed, Klaus moved his wrist away from Olivia's mouth.

Kol pulled forwards and started shaking her again, "Come on wake up!" he hissed. "Go back inside, go enjoy yourself." he told Astrid.

Astrid shook her head and rested her hand on Kol's back, "I'm staying with you until she wakes up, sweetie," she whispered.

"I'm sure she'll be fine, Kol," Klaus assured before heading back.
