"Will be," Astrid confirmed, "Get some rest, text me if you need me." she replied before heading out of the house and towards her mothers.

"Tatia," He sighed, just pulling her into a tight hug and whispering, "It's okay, just calm down."

Tatia just shook her head, before suddenly projecting images through her skin of Adams various mistreatings over the years she was with him, hoping it'd make him let go like it had the time she'd tried to show him the witches torturing her.

Klaus just nuzzled his face into her hair and kept his arms around her, refusing to let her go and let her hurt herself.

Tatia struggled against him, before switching what she was showing; instead deciding to replay the night she died, with Esther featuring.

"Tatia stop," Klaus hissed, "I don't want to see this but I'm not going to let you keep hurting yourself either. Stop."

"Let me go and I'll stop."  Tatia begged as she continued to keep replaying her memories.

"I let you go and you'll hurt yourself again," Klaus hissed.

Astrid entered the house without knocking and wandered into the kitchen to see if Vanessa was there.

"I can still feel him, it's making my skin crawl, it's making me remember what he used to do! I need to get it off."

Vanessa was napping silently on the couch.

"He's not there, your not getting anything off but your own skin. Stop thinking about if, if you stop thinking about it you'll be fine." Klaus assured before going for a different approach and just pressing a deep kiss to her lips.

Astrid wandered into the livingroom and flicked Vanessa forehead gently to wake her up.

Vanessa blinked her eyes open and grunted in annoyance. "What?"

Tatia kissed him back due to shock, stopping the projections. She broke away a few seconds later as she finally stopped struggling against him. "He forced me Nik." she finally admitted. "I need to clean him off be because it reminds me of when he made me… just let me clean him off."

"I'm not letting you rip your own skin off," Klaus replied calmly, "Like I said, you just need to take your mind off it, that's all."

"Charming way to speak to your older sister after your father just killed her father," Astrid whispered with a roll of her eyes

"He deserved it. He threw me and mom across the room and knocked Mia on her ass, he also treated mom like a dick for years, so if you've come to have a go at my dad for it don't bother."

"Take my mind off it how?!"

Astrid flinched a little at her words before whispering, "I haven't, actually, I've come to make sure your okay and apologise for kind of causing thiis.. You need to understand my side of it though, Ness, at least try to anyway, please."

"How about you start by not yelling at me," Klaus whispered, "We can go downstairs, sit on the couch and spend some time with Vanessa."

"And you need to understand mine. Just imagine how you'd feel if you found out my dad was hitting mom, that he treated her like dirt, and we just made like it was all okay just because he was out dad… You'd go crazy."

"No, no. I can't let her see me like this." Tatia shook hr head, before finally giving in and stopping struggling as she collapsed against Klaus in tears.

Klaus just sighed and sat down where he was, pulling her onto his lap and holding her close without a word, rubbing her back gently and letting her cry it out.

"Well your obviously okay," Astrid muttered, "I'm not going to disturb mom, tell her I popped in to see if she was okay. I'm really not in the mood to put up with you at the minute Vanessa, why I thought it was a good idea to show caring and see if you were okay I don't know." Quietly she got to her feet and headed towards the door.

Tatia just wept against him, her body wracked with sobs.

"You may as well wait, mom'll be done soon in gone shower."

"Then she'd come down the stairs with Klaus and I'd end up slapping him for not letting me say goodbye at the least, if he had to kill him he could of just knocked him out and let me say goodbye." She whispered, voice shaking a little, "And why would I stick around and put up with you, pointing out how terrible I am for caring about my own father."

Klaus tightened his arms around her a little.

Eventually, all worn out, Tatia relaxed against him silently as she breathed a little shakily. After a few minutes, she whispered. "I'm sorry for putting you through that with the flashbacks, I never meant to tell you what I did either,  you were never supposed to know."

"He had to kill him! He was crushing moms arm, he hurt her! Would you really have wanted my dad to have knocked him out, if you'd have said goodbye then it'd have been more painful because you would've known what's coming!"

"Sshh," Klaus soothed softly, "It's okay, don't you worry it's okay. Get changed and we'll head downstairs and relax, yeah?" he suggested.

"Shut up Vanessa!" Astrid snapped.

Vanessa hissed back, getting up and pinning Astrid to the wall as her face vamped out. "No! You grow up an accept the fact your father was a good for nothing abusive jerk and stop sticking up for him!"

Tatia nodded with a small sniffle, "Yeah."

"Get off me before I make you," Astrid hissed, narrowing her eyes at her. "I'm not sticking up for him, not this time. Me wishing I got to say goodbye to him instead of ending seeing him again with me yelling at him isn't sticking up for him! Me grieving is not sticking up for him!  I came here to make sure you were okay because I heard he hurt you earlier in the week, and hurt mother today so stop causing arguments with me, you brat! I'm not in the mood to put up with your sh*t."

Klaus got to his feet and pulled her up to hers.

Tatia went to look for clothes in the wardrobe.

"Why don't you just go." Vanessa hissed as she let her go.

"No I'm going to stay now to p**s you off until I see mom!" Astrid hissed, shoving her way past her and sitting herself down on the sofa quietly.

Klaus followed her quietly.

"Mom took all your pictures down, she does not want ou around anymore." Vanessa hissed. the photos o Astrid had simply been taken down ecause they had smashed when Vanessa crashed into them.

Tatia picked some out and changed quietly.

Astrid ignored her, tilting her head back and closing her eyes to try and keep herself calm.
