Vanessa grinned. "Well before that happened it was a great opening day." she mused, sliding her arms around his neck and kissing him.

"Your body that'll be getting the scan, you book it."

"You don't allow me to be lazy often, do you?" She laughed quietly.

Nate nodded, kissing her back gently.

"Mm," Jeremy hummed quietly, kissing the top of her head.

She looked at the little wooden bullet that she pulled out and she winced as it suddenly burnt her fingers.

"You can't get into the lazy habit if we're having a baby."

Vanessa grinned before pulling away to serve a customer.

"Let me enjoy the last lazy opportunity I'll have for the next eighteen possibly longer years," She replied. "I'm allowed to be lazy for these next few months."

Nate watched her quietly before serving a customer also.

"Vervain." Jeremy frowned.

She rubbed her fingers together. "It felt like it." She leant into him.

"Nope, may as well start forging new habits now. I'm not Nik, he pampered your mother far too much when she was pregnant." Kol smirked as he headed into their house and collapsed heavily on the couch.

Vanessa would steal a glance at Nate every so often while she worked.

Nate would do the same to her.

Astrid just sighed softly, brushing her fingertips through his hair affectionately and kissing him on the lips gently before grabbing her phone and calling the hospital.

Jeremy nodded.

"How's Elena? And the baby?"

"Elena's okay, don't know about her baby,"

She sighed.

"I think its time to take a break," Vanessa mused after a while, "Let someone else take over for ten minutes or so."

Kol stretched out on the sofa and listened quietly.

Nate gave a nod of agreement.

"They said a well today at 12," Astrid told him when she hung up. "Though tou probably heard,"

Jeremy frowned.

Kol nodded, "That's fine, how long does that give us?"

Vanessa smiled at that, waking away from the counter and letting someone else take over as she went into the back room.

"Meant a week today at 12," She wrinkled her nose, "So it gives us a week to wait. Couldn't talk properly for a moment then."

Kol laughed a little, "That's fine."

Vanessa wrapped her arms around him in a hug with a small sigh, closing her eyes briefly.

Alec: shrugged his shoulders

Trinity: Alright um well my ex is Malvolio Mikaelson (I think that was the last name) I'm not sure if you know him or not...maybe you know of his family she told him stopping to look at him

"You've been laughing at me a lot today, you know,"

Nate hugged her back gently, running his fingertips up and down her arm and asking, "Are you alright, angel?"

"Helpful,"

"Yeah, I'm just a little tired is all, today's taken it out of me."

"You've given me a lot of reasons to laugh," He pointed out as he pulled her down on top of him.

Alec: Bout as help as you're being babe.

"Mm, they've never been intentional though." Astrid replied, snuggling into him a little bit and resting her head on his shoulder, "How're you feeling though, pretty boy?"

Nate nodded a little bit, "Shall we go home?"

Fleur laughed.

Alec: flopped back on the couch and looked up at her Come here then? he opened his arms to her

Vanessa hesitated before nodding, "Yeah, let someone else close up."

"I'm fine, I told you."

"Mm, as you were leaning into me." She pointed out but figured she's drop the subject, tilting her head up to kiss the bottom of his jaw gently, "I love you,"

"Or you could head home and I could stay here,"

"Yes, I know of the Original Family."

Charlotte turned and she hugged him being careful not to get blood on him.
