"I do, plus I want to see where we'll be staying whilst we're here so it'll be satisfying my curiosity at the same time."

Abel wiped his hand on her jeans, already healing. "Goliath is a hoarder. It comes from losing everything when he was younger. So we let him keep what he wants. I'll put stickers and blocks on the doors of the dangerous rooms. I think the hydra is the worst. Or the drakeling. Either way, ones big enough to eat you whole, the other likes it in pieces."

"Going to have to change room, actually. Had a single here before."

"Is it safe to stay here? Maybe I'd be better off in a hotel..."

"Hey, it's more than safe! Jace wouldn't have brought you here otherwise. You have four fully functional healers in this building and two of them can resurrect people." Abel walked further down the corridor again. "Like I said. I'll mark the doors. Goliath moved everything around."

"Did you live in Ancient Greece, any chance? I think you in a toga would be quite amusing." Raine snickered as she stood up.

"Can you imagine how much Jace would freak out if we let his guests get hurt? I don't like healing everything. It takes weeks to bring a body back and it always feels weird. You'll be perfectly safe. One of he'll always be around. Not Sampson. He's too serious."

"I didn't look too deep into the wardrobe. I don't know what on earth there is, or where I've been."

Maria just nodded a little apprehensively at that.

Jace yawned and stretched his arms above his head as he stood. "If you really want to have a look."

"Jace wouldn't bring you here if he thought you'd be hurt," Abel said with conviction and yanked open a door, looking pleased when nothing came out to hurt him.

This was a new experience but it's all fixed now." Abel stepped back from the door. "It's a master, en suite, and a walk in wardrobe. Big enough for the both of you?"

"I thought I'd be fine. But apparently not. And Sampson had a sassy bitch fit."

Raine started to say something but was cut off as her phone started ringing, grimacing at the caller I'd, she cut the call and passed it to Jace. "Break it? You're stronger than I am."

"Just, be careful." Maria said quietly before sorting out Nikolais blankets and handing him over.

Abel very carefully took Nikolas, testing how heavy he was and looking fascinated.

"I never remembered babies needing all that," Abel sounded bewildered. "A cot and clothes yes. Maybe a toy but the other stuff? Babies survived well enough without."
