"Cas likes making jabs at me about it. It's just old humour between us, I shouldn't have expected anyone else to get an inside joke."

Ria just nodded a little at that.

"Besides, can you see me being humorous in anyway at all?"

"I can actually, nobody is a hundred percent boring."

"Well, tell me when I've reached your expectations."

"If you can juggle four or more items then I'll be impressed."

"I can't juggle at all, no patience with it. I don't do much at all with anything."

"How about standing on you head? I can do that for a couple of minutes..."

"Just head, or with hands as well? Because I know some advanced yoga poses - Cas thought it would help."

"I can last longer with my hands," Ria hummed, before grinning. "I'm like ninety percent sure I can beat you in the yoga department."

"Cas has seen enough to be the judge."

"I've trained in three different types of dance and did amateur skating in the winter when the lakes froze over. M'pretty sure I can out bend you in yoga."

"You'd be surprised." Cedrick shrugged.

"Suppose it helps that our muscles stretch and tear themselves apart every full moon, mm?"

"They tend to do that in everyday exercise anyway..." Cedrick mumbled absently. "Just to such a huge extent."

Ria just hummed in agreement at that.

"Have you ever seen a younger one get stuck in the halfway point of the change?"

"Nope, never watched anyone changing."

"Hope that you don't and then see them get stuck."

((by the way, if I'm on less than normal for a few days/weeks it's because of a family emergency sort of situation))

"I'd rather pay attention to my own shifting and make sure I don't get stuck."

"You have to stay completely still, especially if you're in the middle of the bones sliding about. They break the skin otherwise, and heal that way."

((My sister's house went on fire, with her husband and two of the kids inside. Everybody got out safe, but it's completely destroyed the inside with heat, smoke and water damage, so we're helping them through it at the moment.))

((everyone locally, even strangers, have been helping hugely though, so yeah, it's getting along slowly.))

"Saw it happen to a cousin. Watched mom break the bone and shove it back in. I only really remember the blood and throwing up."

"Well I'm certainly glad I wasn't a witness."

"Apparently it isn't that painful. You're in the middle of the shift, so there's a fair bit of adrenaline anyway."
