Cedrick eventually made his way inside as well, dragging his hands through his hair as he walked to Cassius' room first, waiting outside for a long moment.

"For whatever reason my sister has decided to take pity on you two and let you stay here," Roman said quietly as he rounded a corner and saw Cedrick. "But I'm not her, so the minute you two bring any trouble back here you're out on your arses, I'm tired of moving around because people like you don't know when to shut up and stay out of arguments and scuffles."

"Shut the fuck up when you don't even understand the situation," Cedrick hissed in response. "Don't worry, I wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for the fact I want Cassius to have some stability."

"Be careful how you talk to me, this is my house." Roman hissed in return.

"And you're rushing forward like an idiot into a situation you know nothing about."

((Best'll probably be on with half an hour to an hour or so, she's gone to feed her pony))

"At least I'm not running."

"Well, fine, lets switch places and see how long you last for, huh?" Cedrick bit out. "Oh, sure, you think you know how a pack works but then again, you have a decent pack. Don't complain until you go through a fucking decade of what I did. Then we'll fucking talk about this. For now, piss off. I'm bigger than you, older than you, from what I've heard you don't even have a wolf yet, and I'll probably be leaving soon so I won't have to deal with the consequences." He bared his teeth, eyes flashing briefly.

Roman opened his mouth to say something but stopped when Ria came out of her room.

"You really are a sociopath aren't you?" She sighed, narrowing her eyes briefly at Cedrick before dragging her brother away by the arm, clearly ready to go as she had a large coat on with wellies, and a bag on her back.

"I pride myself on my attitude," Cedrick deadpanned, before knocking on Cassius' door and letting himself in regardless, ignoring the crunch of the lock as he forced it out of place when shoving the door open, slamming it shut behind him.

"I want him gone, I mean it." Roman hissed at his sister, tugging his arm away from her.

"No, I'm not getting involved in this pissing contest, they stay, get over it."

"You argue any louder and we're going to be found quicker than you'd expect," Cassius muttered, from where he was sprawled out on his bed, flipping through a book.

"You took two grand from Dulcet?"

Cassius froze for a split second and muttered, "Not all at once."

"I'll be back in a minute." Ria told her brother quietly once she'd walked him outside.

"Why, where're you going?"

"Back inside." Ria said airily, before heading back in and standing outside Cassius' door.

"So even worse, you fucking skimmed?!

"Only like, fifty bucks a time, less than that."

"How the hell did you even get his card number anyway?!"

Cassius mumbled something, shrugging a shoulder and Cedrick swore angrily at him, slamming his hand through the dresser and breaking the wood.

"That two grand is being kept to pay for any damages." Ria said quietly. "More damage you make, less you get back. Should be incentive enough to keep calm, no?"

"Yeah, sure, whatever, fucking taking money from Dulcet, but the damn way he got it...Christ, Cassius."

"She approached me first," Cassius muttered. "Not as if it hurt anyone."

"The Alpha female Cassius! That should have been enough to fucking back off!" Cedrick jerked around and Cassius, who had put his book down and stepped closer, to try and calm Cedrick, got punched hard enough in the face to rock him back and knock him over, Cedrick snarling at him.

"Knock it off." Ria hissed, grabbing Cedricks fist in her own hand to stop him doing it again. "Both of you quit arguing before this ends up getting worse."

"Thought you were going camping?" Cedrick snapped in return and Cassius sat up, wiping his mouth and mumbling, "Camping...? What...?"

"I'm not leaving until I know you're okay." Ria answered calmly

"How can I be fucking okay when - " Cedrick whipped his free hand out to gesture wildly at Cassius who automatically flinched. "How can I...fuck, how can I..."

"Just calm down, do that breathing matching thing if you have to, there's two of us here to do it from."

"His hearts going like a fucking rabbit's, breathing isn't so much better." Cedrick took in a deep, trembling breath. "Not to mention he decided to be a fucking idiot!"

Cassius held one hand up in surrender, the other pressed to his nose to stop it bleeding. "Sorry, sorry. You're just a little bit on the scary side when you want to be Cedrick."

"Use mine then, sync with me."

Cedrick let his fingers twitch as he started slowing down his breathing. For a moment, he looked like he was going to calm down before he suddenly twisted on Cassius and shouted, "How could you?! I thought I taught you better than that!"

Ria sighed deeply and that, tugging on his arm to gain his attention. "Don't focus on that."

"He messed up, I thought I, he fucking..." Cedrick made a small, broken sounding noise and let his forehead hit her shoulder. "It would be fine, fucking fine if they just wanted me dead, but if they go after Cas, fuck, I'd die, I'd rather die."
