Jeremy let out a small sigh of relief, putting the last of the paperwork away.

((How's he gonna have come back? Oh and can you post on TO please, you haven't posted there in a few days ))

(( Umm..… Maybe they made a deal that Ness doesn't have to baby immediately but when she does she has to be human for the pregnancy? ))

((Sure okay, can you post first for everyone?))

(( Who's everyone? Just so I know who to post for haha )))

After a month or so, Nate wandered through the front door of Vanessa's home, calling gently, "Hey, is anyone home?"

At the scream, Kaida glanced over her shoulder searching for where it came from.

Jeremy frowned and got to his feet.

((I just meant the usual is all.))

Vanessa was sat on the couch with Karina, feeding her quietly. "Holly's in bed, she had a rough night again. Second door to the right at the top of the stairs."

Jeremy tensed instantly at seeing his son, instantly reacting and running towards the hunter that had a hold of him. Throwing him into a wall and pulling Alaric behind him protectively.

Nate nodded a bit and whispered a quiet, "Thanks," before heading up the stairs and into Holly's room. Sitting down on the edge of the bed and brushing her hair behind her ear gently, "Look how much you've grown…"

Holly shifted around in her sleep with a quiet muffle before blinking her eyes open a little and glancing at Nate, simply closing her eyes again with a sigh, assuming she was either hallucinating or dreaming.

"Holly," Nate whispered gently, "No pretending to be asleep, sit up and give me a hug, princess."

Jeremy winced as the bullet hit into his shoulder, grabbing Alarick's arm and dragging him into the office quietly, locking the door and sitting him down on his chair. "You okay, Rick?"

Holly kept her eyes closed for a few more minutes before realising that she could feel Nate's weight on the bed. Sitting up in a rush and looking at him with wide eyes before throwing herself at him, arms wrapping round him instantly.

Nate laughed a bit and hugged her tightly, falling back against the bed rest because he didn't expect her to be so much heavier then she last was. "Haven't you grown, princess?"  He whispered quietly, "I mean I've seen you get taller but…" he shook his head, "I've missed you, Holly,"

"They're fine, they're fine don't worry." Jeremy whispered, "I'm more concerned about you at the moment, what happened?"


"Careful Lijah," Kaida warned lightly when he moved Anna out of the way.

(( Maybe Elijah gets hurt? and the hunters have drank vervain so Charlotte and Damon get hurt too? ))

"I-I" Holly struggled to speak for another few minutes. "But how daddy? I don't understand you were gone and wanted to be human and not come back or live forever and now you're here." she whispered in a rush.

"Never expected to be gone so soon, thought I'd still get to see you until you were grown up. Me dying when you were so young, that wasn't suppose to happen and in all honesty the Other Side isn't a very nice place to be, especially when I see you having such a tough time whenever I check on you."

"Woah Lijah, no," Kaida hissed, catching him before he hit the ground and pulling the stake from him, "I've got you, my love, I've got you."

Falin quickly broke the hunter that had staked Elijah's neck before crouching down beside Damon and rubbing his back. "You're okay, you're okay."

Jeremy just sighed, "You're okay, that's all that matters."

Holly struggled once more before just shaking her head and bursting into tears. "I've missed you so much."

"I've missed you too, princess, so much." Nate whispered, holding her close and whispering, "Don't cry, I'm here now, don't cry."

"But what if I'm dreaming and you're gone when I wake up?"

"You're not dreaming, I'm here Holly."

Falin turned Damon onto his back and kissing his forehead gently before getting to her feet and heading to Jeremy's office, just walking in and grabbing three bloodbags without a word. Heading back out and handing one to Kaida before crouching down beside Damon again and opening the bloodbag, putting the blood along his lips to try and wake him up. "Come on handsome, wake up."

Kaida muttered a quiet thanks to Falin and gently sat down on the floor, breaking Elijah down with her and keeping him close as she opened the bloodbag and made some of the blood trickle down his throat.

Jeremy glared at Falin when she just walked in before moving his gaze back to her.

Holly just nodded, tightening her grip on him and burying her face against him.
