"Just grab the first flight then?" Eri laughed a little at that.

"I'll ask my parents to watch the girls for a bit so you can come too rather than watch them."

"Yeah," Leon nodded, "That'd be good."

Astrid got to her feet and wandered over to him, brushing her fingers through his hair affectionately.

"Don't Astrid, just don't." Kol mumbled and pulled away from her grabbing some clothes from the wardrobe.

Eri nodded then, giving his hand a squeeze before changing her direction.

"Maybe afterwards me and you could do something together, it'd be nice to have us time."

"Just don't." Kol repeated, heading back into the bathroom to get changed before heading downstairs to pick his keys up.

Astrid just sat herself back down into the bed and put her head in her hands.

Karl let out a small nervous laugh and shook his head, "No, never. Air travel is a new thing for me entirely."

Leon shook his head.

"M'off to get the boys." Kol said quietly before heading out to his car and getting in. Sitting there in silence after putting the keys in the engine.

"It'll be fine, I'll be with you," Eri assured.

"How about just going out for food then?"

Astrid watched him go quietly, shifting as if to go after him before changing her mind and pulling her phone out instead. Calling her mother.

"Very very few planes go down, and if one we were on did, we'd survive anyway."

"Better get used to it love, we're starting all over again." Vanessa laughed quietly, kissing his forehead.

"Kinda my fault…. Caught Karl and Eri in bed together, Kol compelled 'em to forget their feelings towards each other. Not Karl's a hybrid, he remembers and has made Eri remember and they both left…"

"That isn't the point," Karl mumbled.

"I— Kol's just out there, sat in the car. I never know if it's best to leave him be or not anymore. I tried to make him feel better and he said 'Don't'… It's up to you if you want to come over."

"It's dangerous, is the point. I like danger, but when it involves the air, hm…"

"We'll have to compel a car somewhere, drive a few states over to a dock."

Kol was still sat in the car with the keys in the ignition, head rested against the steering wheel with the doors locked.

Astrid knocked on the window quietly when realising the doors were locked.

Karl nodded, "Mm, we can do that… Set up in a nice little village in another country somewhere. Start a small business, low profile living."

"Woah Karl, you're getting a bit ahead of yourself there. We've barely just got into this relationship or whatever it is we're in."

Kol didn't even look up, simply lifting a hand to wave her away.
