"He tries not to hit people he doesn't know very well. If he does, it'll be a jab to the side or a halfhearted shrug. If you wake him from a nightmare, or he wakes up and you're there, then he'll get a proper hit in before he wakes up properly to realise what he's done." Cassius winced as Cedrick's grip on his ankle tightened and the whines turned to whimpers.

Ria nodded, leaning down and gently trying to prise The hand away from his ankle.

Cassius wriggled free and sighed in relief as he got his ankle free, though he grimaced as Cedrick made a lost noise and curled up.

Cassius came back with a bottle of water and settled back next to his brother.
