A few months later, Dakota was sat on the couch looking pretty miserable with herself as she munched on strawberries.

Henrik sat himself down beside her cheerfully, pressing his lips to the side of her head.

"What're you so cheery about?" Dakota mumbled around a strawberry.

"What are you so miserable about?"

"I asked you first." Dakota pointed out.

"I have no reason to be unhappy, that's why I'm cheerful." Henrik shrugged.

"You ever eaten so much even when you know you're full? And in the end you end up feeling all uncomfortable and bloated and horrible and puffy and unattractive? Well that's me right now, which is why I feel miserable." Dakota huffed a little.

"You look beautiful though," Henrik whispered with a frown, "My beautiful Kota,"

"You have to say that," Dakota grumbled, shifting a bit, "It's not just about how I look, I feel uncomfortable all the time, no matter where I shift to I still can't get comfy, and when I finally do, she starts shifting around again in there." she sighed, resting her head on his shoulder.

"It'll be worth it in the end, Kota, I'm sure of it."

"I know it will, I do, I just... it's hard." Dakota mumbled, shifting back a little. "And there she goes again, moving..."

Henrik just moved his hand onto her stomach and smiled a bit at the movement, whispering, "Our little Ellie,"

Dakota smiled when he did that, finding the touch comforting. She shifted back so she was laying down before briefly moving his hand out of the way so she could tug her shirt up, before shifting his hand back to where he'd be able to feel the baby better. "Mm, our Ellie." she agreed softly.

"I'm so excited. Have you guessed that I'm excited yet? Because I am. It's going to be amazing, I've already thought of three nursery rhythms to help her sleep, as well as two other songs for her when she's a little older. It's going to be amazing, so amazing,"

Dakota watched him fondly, laughing quietly when she saw how enthusiastic he was, resting her hand over his.

Henrik just smiled brightly at her. "I'm so glad I went to that concert with Hope, literally every amazing thing that's happened since then, every dreams that's come true is all thanks to you Dakota. I don't know what I ever would of done if I hadn't of met you."

"You're being cheesy now Henrik," Dakota laughed, shuffling a bit to get comfortable.

Henrik shook his head, "I'm being honest,"

Dakota just smiled affectionately at him then, jumping a little when the baby kicked rather hardly. "We love you too, you're not forgotten." she whispered quietly, shifting her hand to rub the spot where she'd been kicked.

Henrik laughed a bit at that.

"I can't wait to feel her properly, to hold her, know she's safe..." Dakota whispered as she looked down at her bump.

"Well, by how strong that kick seemed I think she's pretty healthy and happy." He mused.
