Raine mumbled something sleepily, and since she hadn't dressed he would've been able to feel the heat pouring off her skin, she was relapsing into the state she was before he'd brought her to the house.

"Raine..." Jace murmured softly. "It's probably about time to get up." He didn't realise the state of her temperature because he simply couldn't feel at the moment in time.

Raine shook her head and mumbled 'can't' before going unconscious.

Jace moved to shake her a little firmer, sounded a little panicked as he called, "Raine? Raine?"

Raine didn't respond, her breathing gradually becoming laboured.

Jace moved to rest his hand against her cheek, silently pushing healing into her as best he could.

After a few minutes her breathing regulated, though her temperature and state of unconsciousness stayed the same.

Jace just silently sat beside her and combed his fingers through her hair, not yet letting up with his power.

After around half an hour later, Raine blinked her eyes open.
