Of Love, Lies and War <3

"I am not entirely sure. I remember leaving through the window and heading into the forest, something smashed into me knocking me down and then nothing put pain"

Amalia frowned deeply and whispered, "I told you that you'd get hurt if you ran away, you could of died….  If not of your injuries than hypothermia."

Vander gave an almost carefree shrug of his shoulders then.

She slapped him across the face then, moving away from him and snapping, "Don't think so carelessly about your own life, you stupid boy! What about your sister? What about your future soulmate or whatever?"

"Ow damnit!" he snapped groaning quietly at the same time. "My sister is just fine where she is and I have no one, other then the friendship or whatever it is we have going on."

"You don't know if she's fine, don't know what is going on!"  Amalia snapped, "Don't be so stupid and idiotic!"

"Why do you even care?! Hmm?!" he growled at her.

"Because I know what it is like to lose brothers, so shut up!"

"You are telling me to shut up when you are the one that started this.." he mumbled shaking his head as he got to his feet and pushed past her. "Real typical right there."

"Because your acting like your life is nothing!" She snapped, voice breaking slightly.

"Maybe because to me...that might just be the case." Vander replied evenly walking into the bathroom and shutting the door as he looked for some type of painkillers of something for his headache.

Amalia just put her head in her hands.

Taking a few pills he'd found in the cabinet he turned the water on for the bath and stripped down getting into the hot water so to clean off the blood and hopefully remove the chill and pain from his body.

Amalia simply remained where she was

When the water had run cold and he was clean he got out and dried off dressing in his warmest things and laying on the bed still complaining under his breath.

She laid herself down beside him and pressed her forehead to the side of his head. Closing her eyes and whispering, "You should care about your life."

"Why?" he muttered quietly in return turning his head to look at her even though it cause some pain in doing so.

"It sounds selfish but everyone always leaves me when I'm scared….  It'll be nice to have someone that doesn't for once."

"I suppose I do not actually have a choice in the matter really seeing as how things already went bad for me"

"I'm so sorry my company is bad enough you'd rather risk your life then stay in it…" She muttered.

Vander groaned then closing his eyes tightly and putting one of his arms over his face muttering what sounded like "That is not what I meant."

"That is what was implied."

"If you have not seem by now I am horrible with words...."

She just gave a small nod, hesitating before brushing her thumb against his cheek gently. "Your life means something to me, if it helps…"

Keeping his eyes closed and arm over his face he let out a slow breath before giving a small nod of his head.
