She just played with Astrid's hair silently then.

Tatia kept her close, smoothing down her hair and telling her quiet stories.

Eventually she fell asleep.

Tatia smiled and moved to lay down, settling Astrid to be as comfortable as possible under the furs she'd brought down.

Astrid slept.

"Grandmas gonna be here whilst I go check something." Tatia whispered, using the furs to make a bed next to her mother and settling Astrid there before getting up and taking a fire torch from the walls to go searching for Klaus:

Klaus was a little bit back in the cave, talking quietly to Henrik and Kol.

"Hey." Tatia greeted in a whisper.

"Hey," He greeted with a smile.

Kol wrinkled his nose and headed back to his lot her at the sight of Tatia.

"I was just checking you'd gotten here in one piece:"

"I'm fine," He nodded, "Are you?"

"Astrids sleeping with my mother." Tatia nodded.

"Good,"

"You're all well?" Tatia asked, being casual since Henrik was there.

Klaus nodded, "Yes."

"That's good, I was worried that you weren't here since I hadn't seen you."

He shook his head, "I'm fine. All is well."

"That's good." Tatia whispered, hesitating before telling them. "The ships have docked. I heard someone saying. Your father is home." She whispered before adding so only Klaus would hear. "Adam is home."

"Go after Kol a minute, Henrik." Klaus mumbled, watching as he did so and making sure no one could see before pulling her into a gentle hug.

"One of the ships was lost, the one that was carrying mostly treasure... He's going to be so angry when he finds me." Tatia whispered against his neck.

"I wish it was the ship he was on that was lost," Klaus mumbled, tangling his fingers in her hair and whispering, "I wish I could take you away from him."

"Your father will take his anger out on you too most likely. We're both going to suffer..."

"I can cope with it though…"

"So can I. I'll endure it for Asa like I always do."

He nodded, kissing her forehead.
