"Mm? Wha..?" Astrid mumbled sleepily, lifting her hand to rest on his shoulder as if about to push him away, though instead her hand just stayed there, too lazy to push him back as she blinked her eyes open.

Klaus sat himself down beside her, wrapped an arm around her waist and pressed his lips to hers.

"They all okay?" Henrik asked as he wandered into the room.

Nate wandered down the stairs sleepily, having stayed the night.

"I saw what you were dreaming about a couple of hours, so I went out and got you something." Kol hummed as he pulled back and sat up, leaning over before placing a kitten on her chest. "Meet Thea."

"Morning." Vanessa whispered when she heard him.

"Perfectly. Sound asleep."

Tatia raised her eyebrows in surprise and kissed him back. "Woah." She laughed a little.

"You were dreaming about picking a kitten, but your dad wouldn't let you have it in case his dogs killed it. Well we don't have dogs, so you can have a cat." Kol shrugged.

"I guessed so." Tatia laughed, kissing his nose. "Any reason?"

"How did you sleep?"

"I think Ruby woke up because I heard her cries earlier but she's settled herself."

"You never do." Dakota laughed a little as she came out of the twins room.

"Are you sure there's nothing?" Tatia whispered, letting out a small noise of content at the kisses.

"I didn't really sleep, I was thinking about something and then LJ for up crying so I saw to him, he's just gone back to bed."

"I've done nothing, I just wanted to see you smile."

Tatia pulled him closer, tangling her fingers in his hair.

"That's because they're a lot smaller, can't make as much noise." Dakota mused.

"They'll get bigger, right? I don't want them to be small for their age."

"Mm, sometimes I have dreams that remind me how glad I am have you. How impossible I thought it once was." Klaus replied with a shrug.

Astrid just sighed, pressing her lips to his gently.
