"Why would you think that?" Olivia raised an eyebrow as she ordered some shots and downed hers.

Adrian walked in a few hours later, sheepishly entering the room.

"Well, it's not like your bad lookin', right?" Adam shrugged, downing his own shots.

"Hey Rian, how you feeling?" Astrid asked gently from where she was curled up on the sofa beside Kol, her head rested on his shoulder.

"Fine." Adrian shrugged.

"Not everything is about looks." Olivia pointed out. "'Ollie, relax darling, not everything's about looks.' Your dad would tell me."

"You aren't overly bad personality wise either though," Adam shrugged.

"Good," She whispered, "Where'd you go?"

"Library."

"You barley know me kiddo." Olivia pointed out as she downed another shot.

(( Apparently the flashback to when they were kids in episode 16 will have Finn, Kol and Bekah in it too. I wonder what happened when they were that young that was so important? I'm quite excited to find out haha ))

Adam shrugged, "And? I know a bitch when I see one an' you ain't one so you must be decent."

"I had a paper to do for uni and you won't let me go home so..."

"I'm a huge hitch." Olivia mumbled, drinking even more then. Within an hour she was completely drunk.

"It's fine Rian.. What's the paper on?"

Adam just shook his head, drinking almost the same amount she did. Getting drunk a lot quicker though

"Lightweight." Olivia chuckled.

"EvoDevo." Adrian shrugged.

"English, buddy?"

"Evolutionary development..."

"Shur up…. dinosaurs are more immune to it then us young people." He teased.

"Sounds interesting," Astrid nodded.

Olivia stiffened at that, sensitive about her age, quietly sipping another drink.

"Don't lie, it sounds boring to you."

"Ah come on… t'was a joke." Adam groaned with a frown when he saw her reaction. "didn't mean nothin' by it."

"No it doesn't," Astrid frowned, "Tell me about it?"

"You don't have to pretend to be interested, mom. It's fine that you think it's boring." Adrian shrugged as he sat down.

Olivia just shrugged a little at that. "If you didn't mean it you wouldn't have said it... But you're right. I'm ancient. Ancient and alone."

Adam just frowned at that.

Adrian just gave her a pointed look.

Olivia downed another shot then, handing him one.

"I like learning new things, just sit down here and tell me Rian."

Adam downed it the instant it was handed to her.

"Looks like I missed my flight home." Olivia muttered when she saw the time. "And I've probably outstayed m welcome at yours."

"Mom it's fine." Adrian shuffled on the couch. "You two still arguing?"

"You heard that…? Uh, no, we're not anymore. Been a bit stressed recently that's all, nothing to worry about, it 'a all fine." Astrid replied, glancing to Kol for confirmation of this.

"Na, you haven't." Adam shook his head, "Let's get so drunk you don't worry about that no more, hm?"

"I worry about a lot of things kiddo, your mom skinning me alive for getting you drunk is one,"

Kol just nodded silently.

"I'm the one that suggested going out, beside, I'm not a kid anymore. Can do as I like." Adam hummed.

Astrid glanced to Adrian again, wrapping an arm around his shoulders and kissing the side of his head. "Should we all do something tomorrow, Rian? Me, you, your father and your brother? a family thing."

"Go Karting, Archery, Golf. Go to some historical site like a castle and act like tourists. I don't know. Something boring and normal that human families do to bond." Astrid replied with a shrug.

"If Adrian can go off to study then I can go off to get drunk. Quit worrying."

"Your family hates me, of course I worry."

"Sounds okay..."

"We'll all talk about what we should do later, hm?"
