Reuniting Tornedalians

She sighed when there was a knock on the door downstairs.

"I'll get it," He hummed, heading down the stairs and opening the door

At the door, no one was there but there was a box addressed to both Xharlotte and Andrew on the doorstep.

"Hey Charlotte, we're you expecting a package?" He called up with a frown.

"Nope, I i take it as you weren't either?"

She knelt down and opened thw box withbher nails, before shencaeefully pulled it back.

Marie was laying in bed resting still feeling a little bit tired.

Laura was outside tending to the flowers in the yard.

Elijah was asleep beside her.

Caleb watched her from the doorway as he stroked the kitten.

He watched.

Charlotte opened the box and a strange grey gas came out of it, which had Charlotte coughing. "Fucking dust."

Marie snuggled against him.

Laura smiled at him.

Elijah pulled her closer.

He smiled back.

He grimaced and peered into it, "What is it?"

"A really old box....This is from when I was first born....They were puzzle boxes back then." She pulled out a fairly large and heavy looking yet she lifted it like it was a bag of flour.

He just watched silently.

She moved to sit on her heels, looking at the box she had got out, and she looked it all over. "There must be something inside it, but I don't know the combination."

"Why would they send us a locked box without a combination?"

"No idea, unless it's meant to be something obvious."

"Try some obvious ones.."

"Obvious....Obvious....The word obvious?"
