Kol grabbed her arm and dragged her back, pinning her against the wall before showing her and letting her feel all the torture he'd been put through. "You think I don't know pain?! You think I don't know how much it hurts thinking the person you love most has given up on you and doesn't care anymore?! I know because I thought that about you! So don't you dare say that!" He roared as he pushed the memories through her.

Astrid just screamed at the pain, choking in hers sobs as she yelled, "I never stopped caring! I never gave up on you! That's why it hurts so much that you don't love me anymore!" she choked, trembling violently. "You don't care about me anymore! I fell for you so entirely, your the love of my life and you don't love me anymore and I feel like a fucking failure Kol because I know it's my fault because I couldn't find you quick enough! I fucking beat myself up for it all of the time! You don't love a anymore and it's all my fault and-and-"

Kol dropped her, letting her go. "You think I've chosen to fall out of love with you?! Did you not hear me Astrid?! It's so hard for me to feel anything! I would kill to feel how I used to feel for you! For us to be as happy as we were and I tried but my head is too screwed up and I just can't! It's too hard it's practically impossible as I'm sorry you're hurt but I'm hurting too!"

Astrid dropped to the ground as soon as he let her go, shaking violently and she cried hysterically.

"You make out like I don't love you as some form of punishment! And that's not the case! I want to love you... I just don't know how! And you're shoving a baby in my face and expecting him to fix everything as it's not fair Astrid!"

Astrid just continued to cry, too hysterical to even catch enough breath to say a word.

Kol just shook his head and grabbed the hoot frames, flinging them to the ground to smash them before grabbing the photos and tearing them apart angrily, tears running down his own face as he wrecked them.

Astrid swallowed down a sob and shook her head, getting to her feet and grabbing him by the shoulders before he could ruin the last ones. Moving one hand up to wipe the tears from his eyes with her thumb, pressing her forehead to his and closing her eyes to stop her own tears.

Kol just pulled her into his arms and sank to the floor in tears.

"Don't leave me…. Don't go...." Astrid begged as she slid her arms around him and cried into the crook of his neck, knotting her fingers in his hair. "Pretty boy," She choked, "My pretty boy. I need you, I need you. I've missed you, it's been awful. It's been so awful for both of us, don't leave me. We can fix us, we can."

"There isn't an us Astrid... No us to save."

Astrid just screamed, though her scream was muffled by her face being buried in the crook of his neck. Body wracked with hysterical sobs.

"I wish it was different... Wish I wasn't too fucked up to love you."

"It's my fault, it's all my fault." She cried.

"No it's not. Nobody's fault but hunters..."

"I should of found you sooner I- I'm sorry." She sobbed, knotting her fingers tightly in his hair, "I'm so, so sorry. I love you so much. I love you, I love you. I never didn't care, never gave up on you."

"You couldn't have found me. Stop blaming yourself." Kol compelled her quietly. "Stop blaming yourself for this."

Astrid just cried silently then.

Astrid moved her head to press against his forehead, moving her hands to cup his face in them, wiping his tears away gently as she whispered with a humourless laugh, "You're such a sweetie, pretty boy. I love you, I love you so much…. That won't change…. When-when your ready to love me, just come to me. When your ready to try and love me, just turn up on the doorstep. I won't turn you away."

Kol just wrapped his arms around her and brought her closer.
