"Because I'm planning on it, duh."

"What're you planning?"

"That's for me to know, and not for you to find out." Luci smiled a wide, sarcastic smile.

"Tell me or I'll push you put of the bed," She replied with a quiet, almost playfully, giggle.

"Fine. I don't like this bed anyway. There's a much better one at Theron's place."

She sighed and rolled over to face him, pressing her forehead against his shoulder and musing, "I've never seen Theo's so I couldn't say."

"It's in the lowest depths of hell." Luci's voice was deadpan. "But the interior decorations are gorgeous. Totally modern chic. Even has hanging bodies on the walls."

"I think you should show me, before I'm dead.…. Somehow." She whispered quietly, "You owe it to me for disturbing my sleep."

"So long as your body stays looked after I can drag your soul down."

"It'd be fine here, surely, as long as it's not for long… show me?"

"It has to be done proper, or some body snatcher will come along and eat that meat bag you're wearing all up. Conditions have to be right. Can't do it right now. Stars aren't in position. Not today."

" 'meat bag'? I thought you and Theo considered me pretty - or was that just my soul you were on about?" She asked before shaking her head and asking again, "How is it done properly then?"

"It's just a common name for a human body. It's a walking sack of organs. Impractical. Some of them function in such a way that if you eat a peanut, you can die. To do it properly, you need the body sealed. Kept in a closed space, watched over. That hunter friend of yours would know how. Sometimes, they send their own into heaven or hell for certain liberties."

"Anastasia wouldn't do it, I doubt she would….  Unless I can make Atticus convince her bur I imagine he wouldn't be too pleased with the thought of it either."

"I can coerce them if its that much of a deal for you. I can knock a few years of Atticus' sentence. He gave some years to save little ol' Ana, he probably wants them back. And Miss hunter will agree because she don't like the thought of anyone owing the devil."

She nodded in response to that, "That'd be great, Luci."

"You don't seem to mind me manipulating your brother into my own gain."

"How is it for your own gain?"

"I get to drag your unresisting soul on a joy ride down to hell and intimidate two people I'm not that fond of."

"I've her curious about it for a while, and Atti is used to me being reckless anyway, so…" Nevia shrugged, before musing, "I probably trust you far too much, don't i?"

"Way too much. But hey, I know you can't help it. You have absolutely no preservation skills. I'm almost proud."

Nevia laughed a bit before whispering, "It's not like you have ever done anything awful to me in the past, really? You haven't given me a reason to ever not trust you."

"I am the lead cause of injustice and pain worldwide. People curse me on a daily basis, sometimes every other hour if they're feeling creative. And you trust me." Luci laughed. "If I was anyone else, you'd be dead."

"People don't know you like I do, Luci. Just like they don't know Theo like I do.   I'm not stupid, I know how other people - my brother and Anastasia - see me but I don't care to be honest. You and Theo are the only ones that act bothered about me, Atticus is only doing it out of duty so…"

"You don't know me?" Luci laughed. "I'm just playing nice. One day I'll get bored and that'll be that. I'll be done with you."
