"I wouldn't have cheated on her. I don't know. i'd have probably assumed you were playing a game."

Saffron nodded turning her attention to the waiter whom had come to take her their own and telling him what she wanted.

"So it's me who isn't good enough really, mm?" Astrid replied with a deep frown.

Diesel just shook his head a little bit in the negative, "I don't want anything,"

At this Saffron got slightly frustrated but once more she kept quiet simply thanking the waiter as he walked away with their order.

"No... I wasn't really ready to be in a relationship with anyone else but you at that stage. I couldn't have, especially since I wanted to make the boys and Erika my priority. But you understand that they're important because they're your boys too, so being a good dad came easily to me when I was with you because I had your support."

Diesel glanced down at the table quietly.

"Mm. She's nothing like me and I'm nothing like her. Don't say that again; it's offensive."

"She is like you Astrid. She's a good person, a wonderful person and she's still my friend."

"Good for you." She mumbled, sitting herself up once again and searching through the wardrobe for something to wear.

She let out a tiny sigh brushing her hand through her hair and glancing around.

Kol just sighed deeply.

"I'm not taking it out on you, your taking it out on me that after pining for you for years after you left me, and seventeen years beforehand I- People just keep dragging up the past and I'm sick of it." She mumbled, pulling on clean clothes and heading down the stairs.

Kol just sighed deeply, getting up and dressed himself.

Astrid wandered into the kitchen, just staring into the fridge silently as she listened to him.

"Because you're being silly," Astrid whispered with a deep sigh. "And I'm realising that I have no friends aswell, I suppose.. which isn't your fault."

"Nobody really does in this family. There's that many of us that family and friends double up. Hope and Henrik are best friends, as our twins used to be... I guess they just drifted I suppose. Lucas is best friends with his four closest sisters in age. Well, Mia is before Hope but that almost counts."

She let out a tiny sigh brushing her hand through her hair and glancing around.

"And I'm a part of it all, mum had child she said... Before me, I think it was, she told me once. I can't remember the details but maybe that was the sibling I was suppose to be close to. Ivar and me are kind of close; not really though.."

"Whats wrong?"

"Hmm? Oh, oh nothing I'm alright." She replied caught offgaurd by the question at first.

"Something obviously is..."

"Your mum had a son after you. At around thirty weeks or so. Fell pregnant straight after having you. When she first told Nik she didn't really specify that it was before they started sleeping together, so he had a week or so of being completely gutted, assuming that the baby might have been his and your mum didn't mention it to him. He eventually cracked though and spoke to her about it, she assured him that the boy wasn't his, and she never mentioned him because half the time she thought it was a hallucinated memory, something that never happened. She only told him when she was certain."

"With you maybe but not with me. I'm alright, you on the other hand seem rather unlike yourself tonight...." Saffron answered softly searching his face for anything that might explain what was bugging him.
