She said nothing simply waiting to see if he'd sit by her or not.

He said nothing and done nothing.

She shook her head and slowly got herself up from the bed and very carefully made her way around the room gathering up things for a shower.

He watched her, before he disappeared.

She mumbled angrily under her breath and wheeled the basinet into the bathroom with her so she wouldn't have to ask anyone for help.

A few hours later, Caleb came home, but he went straight upstairs and started to pack.

Laura had gained a lot of her strength back from resting and was behind him in a few moments wrapping her arms around his waist. "Where do you think you're going?"

"Away."

"No. You seriously think I'm just going to let you leave?"

"Yep."

"Caleb no. You can't just up and walk out on us."

"It's not for good."

"How long then?"

"I don't know."

"Then don't leave. You know how I worry when you're away..."

"I have to."

"No you don't. You think you do but you don't...what's leaving me here going to do hmm?"

"Kepp you safe from me."

"I am safe. You slept beside me and nothing happened."

"Yeah slept."

"I was sleeping, you could've done anything to me. To our son and you didn't. You went to sleep. Caleb you can handle this."

"No, I can't."

"So that's it then huh? When something gets hard you're just going to leave?"

"You really think I want to? Do you really think I want to be here and want to harm you or our son?" He suddenly angry and he had no idea where it came from, but he pinned her to the wall by her neck, rather harshly. "You have no idea how much I want to kill both you and him, to really become a monster."

"But you won't..." She whispered staring at him in a bit of surprise but not a bit of fear.
