Scott let out a small sigh and gave a small shake of his head, "And what if the dawn doesn't exist? What if I've lost him completely, Kira?"

Mica just nodded subtly in response to that, glancing down at her stomach.

"Mm," Scott mumbled quietly, remaining silent then. Just holding Kira close quietly.

Mica nodded subtly in response to that, not saying a word then.

"He's going to have to leave now, me and Kol want go to bed." Astrid whispered after an hour two, popping her head into Maisie's room. "It's late and it's been a really bad few days."

Maisie was still curled up on Dexter's chest, Dexter still dozing.

Tatia just rested her head ontop of Mica's

"This is the best he's slept in months, Astrid, please let him rest for a few more hours. Please...." Falin frowned.

Astrid frowned deeply, glancing over her shoulder at Kol to see what he thought.

"I hope so, I really really hope so..."

Mica closed her eyes.

"He won't, don't worry. He wouldn't and if he tried to I wouldn't let him." Falin whispered gently in assurance, glancing to Dexter quietly as she added, "He really needs to sleep this well for once, Astrid."

"Mm," Mica hummed in confirmation.

Scott just nodded subtly.

"If he tries to run with that girl I'll kill him." Kol deadpanned before heading out.

"Sleep if you need to."

Kira kissed his forehead. "Why don't we go give Ciaran and Lyra a break for a while mm? Niamhs in playgroup all day so we have free time."

Falin just shook her head a little bit in the negative with a frown, ducking her head to kiss the side of Dexter's. Whispering almost silently, "Aren't they harsh on you, sweetheart. No wonder you feel like you do, they think so lowly."

"Yeah, yeah okay." He nodded.

"Mm, I want to pick Lloyd up from nursery today. If I fall asleep I'll miss it."

Astrid laid down on hers and Kols bed, resting her head on the pillow with a small yawn.

"I bet Lyra and Ciaran are exhausted...."

"Yeah," Scott whispered quietly, "We had four, when Zoey died and we got Thomas. I remember how exhausting it all was, constant. Sleep was rare."

Mica smiled at her laugh.
