Malvolio had his forehead pressed against his pillow, eyes closed as he listened to her heartbeat contently. His hand resting on the crook of her back gently.

Klaus opened the car door for her, whispering, "We're home, I went in ahead and set up the bath too so you can go straight in."

L.J shook his head.

Zara sobbed into his shoulder. "She loves you, she looks at you like you're a precious Angel, and you hate her, you hate how she loves you. How can you hate being loved by that... you have so many people who love you and you hate it..."

Tatia held onto him quietly.

A few days later Trinity was sat on the small couch in her living room staring blankly at a piece of paper in front of her set on the coffee table. It was something she wasn't expecting in the least and it totally caught her off-guard when she opened it. Malvolio wanted a divorce. She knew they were having problems and that he'd left but she didn't think it was that bad. They hadn't even spoken of a divorce before...she figured he'd stay away for awhile, gather his thoughts and come back so they could work things out just as they always had. Clearly that wasn't to be the case this time. Rather then do what she really wanted to right now which was pick up her phone and call him demanding what the hell this was all about she didn't. Instead she took a pen from the draw at the table beside the couch and signed her name on the line. Folding the paper back up she stuck it in the envelope it came with and sealed it, getting up she put it into the mailbox. Returning to the couch she sat down putting her head into her hands, feeling completely numb. When had things gotten so bad?

Matteo had went away about a week earlier and still hadn't returned. He had decided to go on a trip and travel a bit before returning home and making decisions on what he really wanted to do with his life.

Caleb was sitting outside in the yard behind his house with Evelynn the two of them talking about what she wanted to do know that she was older and such.

"Maybe I'll call mom and talk to her a bit about it as well." Eve replied to one of her fathers questions.

Walking through the forest along a small faded dirt path that Saffron knew like the back of her hand from her childhood she pushed some hair that had fallen loose of it's ponytail back behind her ear. Reaching into her pocket she removed her phone and rather then send another text she dialed Malvolio's number just listening to it wrong. Maybe if she actually called rather then texted he'd hear it and finally answer her.

"It is never, ever someone's fault." Tatia trembled violently, putting Andrea down in a Moses basket. "Never. Vanessa you need to go tell her it's not her fault, because thinking that something like your fault destroys someone inside." she hissed, though it was more to keep back tears than to be aggressive at her daughter. "It wasn't my fault Adam beat me, and it wasn't Falin's fault that Damon beat her. It's never - it's never someone's fault when someone does that to them!"

Dexter rubbed her back soothingly. "You're okay, I'm here."

Adrian walked with them in silence.

"Adam! Someone's at the door!" Olivia called down from where she was in the bath.

"Because she's silly, Farrah, that's why." Tamara replied gently.

"Hate myself." Falin mumbled, "I thought I'd convinced myself, thought I'd gotten over it all. What she thinks wouldn't hurt so much if I had gotten over it all..."

"Maybe Falin just misunderstood something, Tat, we haven't heard Vanessa's side yet." Klaus replied with a small sigh, lifting his head to look at his daughter and asking quietly, "Did you say it was her fault?"

Adam frowned deeply, turning the oven down before going to open the door.

"Look who I found extremely drunk!"

"I said I could've helped her if she'd have told me. She said... She said that I never came to see her, that it wasn't all one sided. But I did go see her and she didn't trust me enough to tell me so I could help her. I said it was her fault she suffered so long because she didn't trust me enough to let me help."

"She wants Adam to surprise her, he's planned to do it and she doesn't want to ruin it."

"I don'ts want to be here stranger, stupid stranger." Zosia slurred.

"You're not to blame." Dexter whispered.

"But... You could've saved yourself a lot of suffering mum... You could've been free." Vanessa whispered. "You might not have had to live that awful life."

Tatia hissed, moving forward as if to strike her.
