Us and Them

Jaylin let her eyes meet his a moment pulling him close again her hands gripping his shoulders gently.

His eyes met hers, reflecting nothing but love for her and he made sure she still wanted this.

She smiled at him letting her eyes show that she did very much want this.

He kissed her deeply and when she was ready, they faded to black.

She kissed him deeply as they faded to black.

Afterwards, Hunter lay in bed beside her, watching her.

She laid against his side with her head on his shoulder and and an arm around his waist.

He hel her close.

Jaylin smiled kissing his chest. "Thank You..."

He looked at her. "You're very welcome."

She smiled hugging him tightly. "You are the best thing that's ever happened to me and I want to spend forever by your side."

He held her close. "You will, I promise."

"Hunter I want you to turn me...when you're ready to."

"I will, but it has to be when you're ready Jaylin, becoming a vampire is a lot."

"I know what it means and I want to. As hard as that might be to believe and as much as I fear them sometimes I don't fear you. I'll be okay with this."

"Alright, but you can decided where and when."

"You'd have to stay with me after right? So it can't be now since you'll be going to take care of the wolves?..."

"Damn the wolves, if you wanted to be turned now, then I would."

She nodded her head.

He kissed her head.

"I want you to but your family is going to need your help tonight..."

"It won't be tonight." He told her. "Esmerelda is vicious, but not that vicious."

She smiled at that giving a nod before meeting his gaze. "I want you to then..."

"Okay, close your eyes and I'm sorry but this is going to hurt." He told her as he gently kissed her lips and neck before biting into the spot that he had kissed exchanging her blood for his venom.

Jaylin nodded flinching violently gripping his arm tightly as she attempted to lean into him and not fight back in a rush of fear.
