Us and Them

Gavin laughed quietly and went to check on them.

She watched him go.

He went to Lucy's room first knocking on the door before poking his head inside. "Hey kiddo, whatcha wanna do today?"

She shrugged.

Gavin chuckles lightly leaning against the door frame.

She smiled at him,

He left her to play and went to check the baby.

The baby was curled up in blankets, clutching his teddy bear and was fast asleep.

He smiled a bit just watching him for awhile.

Daniel stirred but ended up going back to sleep.

After a few minutes he backed out and wandered around to find Esme.

Esmerelda was watching her brother who miraculously managed to stay asleep.

"What's going on?"

Jaylin had her arms lightly around Hunter, slowly running her fingers through his hair.

"Nothing, just watching him sleep."

"Uh why?"

"Because it's peaceful, Hunter never sleeps this long, ten minutes tops."

"Maybe he's just that relaxed being with her."

She nodded.

Gavin smiled a bit

Jaylin was content with laying beside Hunter watching him sleep.

Esmerelda watched her brother as he started to stir.

She ran her fingers through his hair.

"Why is everyone staring at me?" He asked as he opened his eyes.

Gavin chuckled lowly. "Seems that you actually sleeping in quite interesting to them."

She smiled kissing his cheek. "You looked peaceful."

He opened his eyes to look at Jaylin and he gently kissed her lips. "Good to know."

She returned the kiss. "You slept well then?"
