Us and Them

He grinned at her.

She moved a hand to take hold of his. "How was your day?"

He gently squeezed her hand. "It was...fun."

She smiled back.

"Fun? I thought you forgot what fun was," She teased.

"Only way to discribe it."

She smiled at him. "Well then hopefully you'll have 'fun' later."

Gavin glanced over at their son.

Daniel was chewing on a teething toy.

"Do you know something that I don't."

"I might."

He watched him a moment.

Hunter raised an eyebrow. "Well if you don't m No, I'll leave you to whatever you know and I'll go and get a shower and change." He kissed her cheek, before he stood up and headed back towards the house.

Daniel didn't notice but Esmerelda was smiling softly at him.

She just smiled shyly kissing him back. "Alright."

"Is it bedtime yet?" He joked.

"Not for a while my sweet, you're just going to have to be patient."

Hunter smiled and he headed up to his and Jaylins room, seeing he bag from her trip to the exotic shop and he raised an eyebrow but didn't look in it.

Jaylin wasn't to worried about him being upstairs just sitting with Lucy.

"I'll try."

In the end he done as he said, only he got changed into some lounge pants and he walked down to the kitchen.

She smiled.

Jaylin had brought Lucy over to Gavin setting her on the blanket with her brother before heading inside.

Esmerelda smiled a knowing smile as she watched her go. "Remember what I said Jaylin." She told her before she was too far away.

Hunter was in the kitchen drinking from a blood bag. Esmerelda had piled in the fridge.

Jaylin nodded in reply heading inside and placing a small kiss on Hunter's cheek before continuing upstairs.

Gavin looked at her.

"You'll find out, eventually." She told him with a kiss to his cheek.

Hunter kissed her back and watched her go.

She went upstairs and collected the bag from off the bed and went for a quick shower.

Hunter stayed downstairs.

She smiled softly.

After showering she brushed her teeth and combed out her hair before slowly dressing in the items from the bag.

Hunter walked into a room that resembled a small library and he picked up a book, waiting to see if Jaylin was going to come back downstairs any time soon.

She peeked her head out the bedroom door. "Hunter can you come here please?"

Hunter put the book down and he headed upstairs.
