Immortal Mansion

"She's my little girl, I have to worry." Carmen snapped.

"Am I not also your little girl?" Sarah asked suddenly, looking at Carmen as she leant against the sink. "Do I not also deserve your worry?"

Deluca let out a breath. "Sar..."

Sarah looked at him, before she looked at her mother. "Or do I not deserve it because I'm not normal."

"Sarah, I made so many mistakes with you." Carmen told her. "But Ariadne is the only one of us who can have a normal life...Grace has powers as well...I've hid her for so long, I didn't want her ending up like you."

"Do you not think she deserves to see her sister?" Sarah suddenly asked. "Grace deserves to see that she isn't alone instead of being treated by an outcast and feeling like she has to hide."

He clenched his jaw getting up and walking over to Sarah, sliding his arms around her.

She glanced to him as her mother spoke.

"Grace will have nothing to do with this life." Carmen sounded rather defiant.

"I don't mean to be rude but you're only doing her more harm then good by hiding her away."

Carmen looked at him. "Grace is my daughter, I think I know what's best for her."

"Will I get to see Grace before I leave?" Sarah asked.

"She's in the car downstairs." Carmen told her.

He only shook his head.

"I want to see my sister." Sarah told her and Carmen nodded.

He didn't say anything else just watching his fiancé.

"Let's go down and see her."

"I'll be right here."

Sarah nodded and she let Carmen lead the way.

He stayed up in the room and waited for her.

She walked out of the room with her mother and after a while she still hadn't come back, and in fact as soon as she'd come back inside the hotel, she sat on the stairs that led up to their room.

He had stayed where he said he would be.

Sarah stayed sat on the stairs staring at the floor.

When she didn't come back after awhile he got and and went to look for her. With a sigh he sat beside her wrapping an arm around her.

She leant into him.

He kissed the side of her head.

She smiled softly.

He smiled. "Everything alright?"

She nodded.

"You sure?"

She nodded. "Yeah."
