Just back on the other side of the yard near the trees was a small little creek and fish/frog pond.

She sat down on the ground right near the creek and gently tugged him down so he would sit. "Careful the water is just a few inches in front of us. It's not deep though."

She brought him out back to a bench under a tree a little away from the kids.
