All three girls seemed to be happily watching their partners.

Suddenly Angel spoke up as she looked out of the window. "Daddy there is someone outside." As she spoke, Christian grabbed her as gunshots came through the window just where Angel had been, but Christian took most of it.

Marie and Laura were on their feet in an instant. Laura rushing Alexander upstairs where he would be safe.

"Michelle get them upstairs and keep them up there," Marie told the girl as she looked at Elijah and Caleb.

Christian managed to put his sister down and he let Michelle take her.

Michelle picked Angel up and she also took Christians hand. "Come on, let's take her upstairs."

Elijah caught his sons eye and he nodded. "Go with them, we will deal with this."

Christian nodded and he went with her.

She seemed happy that he wasn't going to argue at all and also took Alexander with them.

Marie and Laura looked at the guys.

Christian took his sister and he followed her.

Elijah was scanning the area for the man.

"Shall we go find him? The four of us?" Marie asked.

Michelle took them to Alexander's roomph so the kids could play.

Angel was happily holding onto her brother when Eric joined them.

"What happened?" Eric asked and as Christian told him Eric set out getting the bullets from Christians arm that had been meant for Angel.

Michelle said nothing on the matter simply putting Alexander down on the floor of the bedroom so he can play and going to find a first aid kit.

Eric looked at Christian when his body healed his wounds and he looked down at Angel who was tugging at his sleeve. "Well hello little miss, I don't believe we have met."

Angel shook her head. "We haven't....I'm Angel."

When she came back she looked at him.

Christian was just sat watching the interaction between his sister and Eric.

Eric and Angel sat cross legged opposite each other and they were shaking hands. "I'm your adopted brother." Eric told her and he smiled as Angel beamed at him.

Michelle walked over and sat herself down beside Christian silently slipping her hand into his.

He slid his hand into hers.

She gently squeezed his fingers.

He smiled softly squeezing her fingers in return.
