He nodded. "Okay mummy."

"Promise me Alexander."

"I promise mummy."

"That's my baby," She hugged him close.

"Now that this is settled when was I going to find out about Christian and his 'friend'?"

"Let him live his life." Elijah told her. "Maybe that's what he needs."

"That isn't what I asked Elijah. I want to know why I wasn't told.""

"Because I didn't want you to react like this." Christian told her as he walked in, shrugging off his leather jacket.

"Because no one told me. You didn't tell me Christian, even Angel knew," She frowned suddenly sounding rather hurt by this.

"Not everyone knew, dad walked in on us making out last night when he brought Angel with him to check on me." Christian told her.

Marie turned to stare at her husband before looking back at her son. "Does she make you happy Christian?"

Elijah looked at her with the perfect poker face before he threw a book at a chuckling Caleb.

"Like father like son." Caleb muttered, then recieving a book to the head by Christian.

"She does." Christian told her.

She looked at Elijah and Caleb. "Cut it out you two. If you're happy then...you just be careful, yeah?"

"Mum what's the worst I could do?" Christian asked. "I'm not as powerful as dad and she turns into animals, that puts me off the feeding thing."

"That's isn't..." She sighed softly. "I want you happy is all."

"You didn't answer my question." Christian noted.

"I wasn't implying you would do anything Christian. I just want you to continue being careful."

"I can't keep being careful." Christian told her. "Mum I've lasted entities without you and dad to look after me."

Marie sighed softly slumping down into the couch.

"Your mum and I both understand that Christian, but back then you've not had a relationship, and take it from somebody who knows, you think bloodlust is bad now, wait until the relationships gets physical." Elijah told him.

Christian just looked at him as Angel tapped her mum's leg. "Mummy, what does physical mean?"

Marie looked at her son. "We love you Christian, therefore I want nothing more then your happiness and safety." She looked down at Angel. "It's like how you're sitting on daddy's lap. You're extra close to him."

"Oh....Do I get to be physical with my boyfriend?" She asked.

"When your father is in his grave, yes." Elijah told her.

Marie laughed. "No boyfriends until you're much much older." She looked at ChristIan. "So where is this girlfriend?"
